I recently checked out this movie called Bone Hill, and it’s a really interesting setup. It begins with Laurie, the town librarian, suddenly becoming affected by what seems like an ancient Native American curse. A guy named Wade, who has a bit of a troubled history himself, gets brought in to figure out what’s going on and try to help Laurie. But as he gets involved, his own past starts to make him wonder what he even believes in anymore. It’s a spooky premise that really pulls you in!

When Laurie transforms into a dangerous killer, Wade unexpectedly becomes possessed as well. They’re forced to fight each other to stop the violence and break the curse before anyone else gets hurt.

Verdict on Bone Hill

Recap

The film centers on a woman in town who falls victim to an age-old curse. A doctor haunted by his own past is called in to help, and soon discovers the terrifying spirit that’s taken hold of her. They must work quickly to save her before the curse consumes her completely.

Best Parts

The concept of an age-old native curse resurfacing today is compelling. It highlights the brutal origins of the ritual and how quickly things can turn violent. The story is full of surprises and unveils a larger, more serious issue affecting the local community.

Worst Parts

It’s easy to get lost in complex issues because we don’t always address them directly. There’s a constant tension between valuing ownership and embracing scientific understanding, and finding a comfortable middle ground is difficult.

Final ThoughtsBone Hill is late-night horror 101.
