A dedicated gamer is being called a nightmare hotel guest after leaving his room in an incredibly messy state – a mess so bad it would even shock popular streamer Asmongold.
Hotel staff in Changchun were stunned when a guest checked out after living there for over two years. They said he had spent almost all of that time playing video games in his room.
Online videos reveal the space was completely filled with trash – including food wrappers, empty bottles, and takeaway containers – with piles reaching up to three feet high in certain spots.
The bathroom was a disaster. Toilet paper was piled up higher than the toilet, which was already in terrible condition. A table and two gaming chairs were almost hidden under all the mess.
The Sun reports that this hotel caters to esports players who need a place for extended stays. It provides private rooms with top-of-the-line gaming computers, speedy internet, and comfortable gaming chairs.

Hotel staff said the man kept to himself during his stay, and some didn’t even recognize him because he rarely left his room. They described him as a dedicated gamer who had booked the room for a very lengthy gaming marathon.
It wasn’t until after he was gone that everyone realized how much damage there was. It then took cleaning crews three full days to remove the trash and sanitize the space.

Hotel staff say the guest hasn’t paid for over 10 days, and the outstanding balance is around $400. Hotel management confirmed they haven’t involved the police and don’t intend to take the issue any further at this time.
A video of the messy room quickly spread online, and many people pointed out the similarities to the famously untidy streaming setup and home of Twitch personality Asmongold.
In 2024, streamer Asmongold revealed the extremely messy state of his house and cleaned it publicly. He admitted things had gotten out of control, even to the point of having dead animals inside. He previously described a bizarre situation where he used a dead rat as an alarm, relying on the smell of its decaying body in the sunlight to wake him up.
