The next episode of Pluribus, titled ‘Charm Offensive’, is almost here! Since it’s the second-to-last episode, you’ll want to watch it on Apple TV when it’s released to avoid having it spoiled.
Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad, has a new hit on his hands with Pluribus. The show follows Carol Sturka (Rhea Seehorn) as she navigates a world where a virus has turned most people into a single, cheerful, and cooperative consciousness.
While searching for answers, Carol made a shocking discovery: the mysterious group known as the Others are using deceased bodies as a food source, processing them into a liquid called HDP, or human-derived protein.
With thirteen immune individuals now on board, Carol needs to team up with Manousos, another ally. But after the dangerous journey through the Darién Gap, is he still alive? We’ll find out in episode 8.
Pluribus Episode 8 release date & time
Pluribus Episode 8 comes out on Friday, December 19th, but viewers in the US can watch it a day early! It will be available on Apple TV on Thursday, December 18th, at 6pm Pacific Time / 9pm Eastern Time.
This is how the streaming service usually releases its original shows and movies. If you don’t live in the same time zone, you can figure out when it will be available for you. Here are some specific times to help you plan when to watch:

The writing team is currently working on Season 2, having started at the end of October. They’re continuing to develop the story and will resume after a holiday break in January 2026.
Pluribus release schedule
With just two episodes left, here’s the current release schedule for Pluribus:
- Episode 8 – December 19 (December 18 in the US)
- Episode 9 – December 26 (December 25 in the US)
What happened in Episode 7?

Okay, so at the end of Pluribus Episode 7, ‘The Gap,’ things got really sad. Carol finally just broke down after being alone for so long. She was so desperate, she actually painted “come back” on her drive! It’s so heartbreaking, and honestly, a fan even spotted it on Google Earth days before the episode aired – how wild is that?
A shared consciousness seems to draw Zosia (Karolina Wydra) near. After being isolated for so long, Carol cautiously approaches and embraces her tightly, grateful for any connection at all.
Episode 8 suggests a shift in Carol’s strategy when dealing with The Others, leading to unexpected discoveries.
We’ll also learn what happened to Manousos after he collapsed in the jungle. He’s safe, but currently in an unknown location – did he successfully reach his destination?
It’s still unclear when ‘Charm Offensive’ will be released. In the meantime, you can learn about the reported hospitalization linked to a Pluribus ad and rest assured that the show won’t feature a surprising twist like those in M. Night Shyamalan’s films.
