Arc Raiders Paving The Way Quest Guide

If you’re working on the ‘Paving the Way‘ quest in Arc Raiders, you probably need to find an ENELICA building or some research notes. This guide will walk you through each step of the quest. Keep in mind that it takes place across two different maps, so it will take some time and effort to complete.

Once you finish what you need to do in an area, it’s a good idea to collect your rewards. Don’t worry about starting over if you die, though! Because other players will be completing quests in the same areas, we suggest you avoid bringing your most valuable items—you wouldn’t want to lose them.

When you’re ready to complete Paving the Way, follow the steps below.

  • Go to any ENELICA building
  • Search for a notice board with a note from the researcher
  • On Buried City, reach the top floor above the Convinio at Piazza Roma
  • Find the researcher’s flat and search for any research data

Go to any ENELICA building

You can find ENELICA buildings in a few places, but the Water Treatment Center on the Dam Battlegrounds map is the most convenient. It’s near an extraction point, so you can quickly loot it and return to Speranza. Plus, if you’re doing the ‘A Toxic Trail’ quest, you’ll need to go there anyway, making it a really efficient stop.

Once you arrive at the Water Treatment Center, there’s still one final task you need to finish before you can leave.

Search for a notice board with a note from the researcher

To get to the Water Treatment Center, enter from the south side. You’ll find a notice board immediately outside the entrance. Check the notice board to get a note from the researcher.

You can now grab your items from the elevator near the Water Treatment facility, as you’ll be traveling to Buried City next.

On Buried City, reach the top floor above the Convinio at Piazza Roma

Next, go to the Buried City map. Look for the two apartment buildings in the Piazza Roma area, which is located near the center of the map. We’ve pinpointed the exact spot for you below.

There are several ways to get into the apartments, but for this guide, we suggest using the front entrance of the southern building. It’s right above the metro entrance, so it’s easy to find.

Once inside, head all the way upstairs for the final part of this quest.

Find the researcher’s flat and search for any research data

Go up the stairs and turn into the back room. You’ll see a large screen setup against one wall where you can search for the research data you need.

Once you’ve finished up here, you can head down to the metro station right below the building to leave. Be careful though – some dangerous raiders hang out down there and target people trying to escape. Make sure to check around corners, signal the train, and have a safe trip back to Speranza.
