How to Watch the Dancing With the Stars Premiere Live

Get ready to dance! After lots of rehearsals, *Dancing with the Stars* kicks off live tonight, and all the celebrities are excited to perform – though some are used to dancing on TikTok, this is their first time on a live TV dance floor. Fans will be cheering on the dancers, but one familiar face will be missing: Carrie Ann Inaba announced on Instagram she’s not feeling well and won’t be at the premiere. She won’t be replaced tonight, meaning Bruce Tonioli and Derek Hough will be the only judges at the table.

Find out how to stream season 34 of *Dancing with the Stars*, see the lineup of dancers, and learn how to cast your vote for your favorite couple.

How to watch Dancing with the Stars live:

You can tune in to *Dancing with the Stars* live on ABC at 5 p.m. Pacific Time or 8 p.m. Eastern Time, or stream it on Disney+. If you miss the live broadcast, full episodes will be available on Hulu the next day. Keep in mind that you can only vote during the live show – re-runs don’t count for voting.

Voting opens when the show starts at 8 p.m. You can vote online at the show’s website or by texting a code that will appear on screen during each performance. Each person can vote up to 10 times online and 10 times by text, so team up with friends and family to maximize your votes!

Who’s dancing tonight?

Hilaria Baldwin

Hilaria Baldwin, who has seven children with Alec Baldwin, will have her whole family in the audience when she competes on the show with professional dancer Gleb Savchenko. She told USA Today that they all decided to travel to Los Angeles to support her. So, expect to see all of the Baldwins cheering her on!

Jordan Chiles

I’m actually really excited about this! It’s great to see a former Olympic gymnast joining ‘Dancing with the Stars’ – hopefully, the competition will be a little more fun and a little less stressful than trying to win a medal at the Paris Olympics! She’s teamed up with Ezra Sosa, which should be a fantastic pairing, and I can’t wait to see them dance.

Dylan Efron

Zac Efron’s brother – and he doesn’t mind being identified as such – is continuing his run on reality TV after winning season three of *The Traitors*. Being a dedicated Ironman athlete, he might now try dancing, with a little help from professional dancer Daniella Karagach.

Lauren Jauregui

Okay, so I just saw Jauregui hit the stage with Fifth Harmony during a Jonas Brothers show – talk about a moment! But now she’s trading those big group performances for something a little more focused. She’s joining ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ and thankfully, she won’t have to learn choreography with a whole team. She’ll be paired up with just one pro dancer, Brandon Armstrong, which should make the whole process a bit more manageable, and honestly, a lot more exciting to watch. I’m already anticipating some great routines!

Andy Richter

During an appearance on *Good Morning America*, the actor and comedian admitted he’s “terrified” about competing on *Dancing With the Stars*. He playfully described himself as being in a “constant state of fear,” but said professional dancer Emma Slater is helping him gain confidence. While he’s well-known as Conan O’Brien’s longtime sidekick, it’s possible a new memorable partnership is forming.

Scott Hoying

Pentatonix member Scott Hoying, a longtime fan of *Dancing with the Stars*, is thrilled to be competing. He shared on Instagram that while he’s done some dancing before – like choreographing his wedding dance and creating a few TikTok videos – he’s always dreamed of learning complex ballroom routines. Now, he’s hoping the American audience will support him and his professional partner, Rylee Arnold.

Danielle Fishel

That’s right, Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga on *Boy Meets World*, is joining forces with professional dancer Pasha Pashkov for the show! She shared on TikTok that they’ve been having a wonderful time preparing and are excited to share their experience with fans. She expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “Cannot wait to see what this journey has in store for us!”

Corey Feldman

The former child star will be dancing with professional Jenna Johnson. He excitedly announced the pairing on Instagram, calling *Dancing With the Stars* “the only competition that feels right for me.”

Elaine Hendrix

Meredith Blake, who starred in the 1998 version of *The Parent Trap*, will be dancing with professional Alan Bersten on this season’s show. Lisa Ann Walter, her former co-star, shared a video message congratulating her and expressing excitement to see her perform. Walter hinted that audiences will be impressed with Blake’s talent.

Baron Davis

Will former NBA player and two-time All-Star, known for his time with the New York Knicks, swap the basketball court for the dance floor? He’s teaming up with professional dancer Britt Stewart to learn to dance, and he expressed his excitement on Twitter, saying, “Let’s go!! I’m dancing now. 😂🥣.”

Whitney Leavitt and Jennifer Affleck

Both Leavitt and Affleck are used to public attention, but now they’re taking on a new challenge: learning to swing dance on *Dancing with the Stars*! Their participation was revealed on the *Secret Lives of Mormon Wives* reunion special on July 1st. Several cast members from the show actually auditioned for the upcoming season of *DWTS*, and Leavitt and Affleck won a preliminary competition to earn their spots. Interestingly, Affleck was pregnant during the reunion taping and recently gave birth while getting a manicure, as she shared in a TikTok video on June 27th. It seems her husband will be stepping up to care for their baby while she trains for the show.

Alix Earle

The host of the “Hot Mess” podcast ended her deal with Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network in February 2025. Just a few months later, in May, she announced she’d be joining “Dancing With the Stars.” She told Access Hollywood on May 26th that accepting the offer was an easy decision, but she’s also feeling anxious about how she’ll do. At least her partnership with professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy will give her plenty of content for her popular “get ready with me” videos.

Robert Irwin

Okay, so Robert Irwin – Steve Irwin’s son, you know, the Crocodile Hunter Jr. – is officially joining *Dancing with the Stars*! He just announced it on *Good Morning America* after all those fun photos of him posing with snakes. He’s hoping his sister, Bindi, who *won* the show back in 2015, will be a good source of support. Honestly, as a longtime viewer, I’m already placing bets on when he’ll bring an animal onto the dance floor. I’m guessing it’ll happen during the very first rehearsal with his pro partner, Witney Carson. It’s just in his blood, right?
