It seems risky for the ladies of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City to fly so soon after the drama on their last trip, especially considering Meredith’s possible involvement. Now they’re heading to Greece for Angie’s cast trip. And if Elektra is refusing to discuss certain personal matters, it looks like someone has found another way to stir things up.
Just as I was praising the group for having a smooth trip, things immediately derailed at dinner. Heather started playfully teasing Lisa about a new watch, and it quickly became clear I was missing some context. It turned out Heather was referencing a disagreement that happened during their layover, and I was shocked production hadn’t anticipated this. These women really shouldn’t be left unsupervised without cameras rolling! In a private interview, Heather explained that Lisa and Angie had argued during the layover because Lisa thought Angie had copied her style with a Cartier watch. Apparently, after seeing the Cartier store during their layover, Heather decided to buy a watch for herself and one for Whitney as a joke.
Heather really shines as a Housewife because she’s willing to spend a lot of money and stir up drama, like when she deliberately provoked Lisa. Lisa tried to act unbothered, but it was the perfect opportunity for her and Angie to revive their old argument about who owned a particular watch first. Their back-and-forth was playfully competitive, even though they both took it very seriously. They even debated which of them had better proof, with Angie eventually sharing a Facebook photo from 2016. Then, after Lisa claimed she wasn’t materialistic, Meredith chimed in to remind everyone that she was the one who originally popularized the idea of online shopping in the bathtub. It’s refreshing to see the entire cast genuinely laughing and enjoying some lighthearted teasing. While they don’t always get along, these moments are what make the show work, reminding us that they can still have fun despite their disagreements.
The following day, Mary continued her playful antics on the beach, surprisingly starting to critique her castmates’ face shapes. She playfully called Bronwyn and Heather “bucket faces,” but quickly added that it was a compliment, claiming people with that shape are intelligent because they’re good at processing information—perhaps referencing how buckets actually hold things! It’s a theory that might require scientific investigation. She continued categorizing faces as oblong, pie-shaped, and square, labeling square faces as belonging to someone a bit clueless. The scene then cuts to Britani, who seems to be unintentionally caught in the crossfire of Mary’s comments.
The conversation shifted to Bronwyn’s marriage, but she quickly dismissed any questions, insisting everything was great. This surprised Heather, who remembered hearing they’d had a major fight after Todd was caught sending inappropriate messages to another woman on a flight. Bronwyn had been open about that previously, so the others felt like she was now trying to downplay things. They wondered if she regretted sharing the story on camera, but Mary and Meredith pointed out that once something’s out there – especially on TV – you can’t take it back.
During a shopping trip, a couple of dramatic moments unfolded. First, Whitney dramatically fell in the street – a classic Housewives trip moment – and needed help from a nearby man, supposedly before rolling down a hill. Though it didn’t look that dangerous on TV, the others reacted as if it was a serious fall, so it seems they were genuinely concerned. Angie was upset that Lisa arrived three hours late and found her wearing sunglasses strange, which is ironic considering Angie often wears them herself. Meanwhile, as the tension between Heather and Meredith continues, Mary attempts to mediate by suggesting Meredith buy Heather a necklace as a way to make amends.
Everyone’s wondering if this conversation will actually resolve anything. It takes Mary bringing up the sensitive topic for them to even begin addressing it, but Meredith doesn’t want to discuss it in front of everyone, and she’s right to feel that way. However, Heather is ready to confront the issue head-on, immediately accusing Meredith of damaging their friendship and reputation because Meredith supported Britani during the conflict on the plane. Heather feels Meredith is completely unwilling to admit any wrongdoing. After expressing all her frustrations about Meredith calling her a liar and unfairly reacting to things, Meredith simply stares at Heather in silence before quietly stating she disagrees. It’s striking how much power Meredith holds by calmly refusing to engage further.
I’m really fascinated by the dynamic between Heather and Lisa. It’s interesting to see Lisa seize the moment to finally address how Heather’s behavior at Valter’s affected her. It felt like Heather was just being unnecessarily cruel to Lisa during that lunch, almost as a way to prove to everyone that she doesn’t automatically side with anyone. It really seems like this whole season is about figuring out where everyone’s loyalties lie and what those loyalties mean. Seeing Heather use Lisa as an example to show she’s independent really backfired, because it genuinely hurt Lisa’s feelings, and she understandably broke down while bringing it up. It’s just… a lot.
Okay, so Heather immediately owned her mistake and apologized, which was nice, but honestly, I was way more focused on Whitney’s reaction. She was completely floored, hands over her mouth, the whole nine yards. And then, out of nowhere, she just exploded, saying it always comes back to what Meredith did on that plane. Seriously? Can we please let the plane drama go? It’s been dealt with! Meredith rightfully pointed out that she and Britani have already patched things up and moved on, and frankly, everyone at that table has probably done something equally bad. She was so over it she just walked out, and Lisa, predictably, followed right behind her. It’s a clear alliance, and Whitney even pointed it out, though her explanation involved a rather… dramatic scissor gesture with her hands.
