Sony hasn’t announced the full list of games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in December yet. But, as of today, subscribers can play the action-adventure game, Skate Story, according to recent news from November 25th.
I’m so excited – Skate Story is finally out! It launched today on PlayStation 5, and it’s also available on PC and the new Nintendo Switch 2. If you’re on PlayStation, you can start playing at 9:00 am Pacific Time, according to the PlayStation Store page.
In Skate Story, you play as a character made of pain and glass, journeying through the Underworld. You’ve been tasked by the devil to reach the Moon and consume it, hoping to finally earn your freedom. As you explore the nine layers of this world, you’ll battle enemies and perform amazing skateboard tricks. The game gets progressively harder, but you’ll gain new equipment and learn new tricks to help you overcome the challenges.

The game Skate Story first gained attention nearly three years ago during a Devolver Digital holiday stream. Since then, its release has been delayed several times. Originally planned for 2023, it was then moved to 2024 (announced during the Devolver Delayed stream), and is now expected to release in 2025.
