Persona 5: The Phantom X version 2.6 update brings in Haru “Noir” Okumura as a new party member

Sega and Atlus have released a new update for Persona 5: The Phantom X on both Japanese and global platforms, bringing the game to version 2.6. The main addition is Haru Okumura, a popular character from the original Persona 5, who is now available as a playable party member through a special in-game event.

This update includes a brand-new optional maid outfit for Haru, something not previously available in any version of the game. We’ve also added permanent features like a new storyline called Metro of Desire and an Inscription feature, which lets you trade unwanted cards for the type you need. The new Crossroads of Fate episode is now available permanently, though most of its missions will only be around for a limited time.

Players on the Southeast Asian server will likely receive this update about a week after other regions. However, the update following this one may be released globally at the same time – including for Southeast and East Asia – because the current in-game content on all servers is scheduled to end around Christmas Day.

A special event for Persona 5, called Crossroads of Fate: Spaceport Arc, is coming soon! Details were announced after the game’s maintenance on December 6, 2025.

A new outfit for Haru Okumura is now available! You can get the “Maid Haru” outfit in the Shop under the Goods section.

A new route, the Wish Line, is now available in Metro of Desire! This update includes new Special Operations, bosses, visual effects, charms, and lost items. The maximum level for Route Goals has also been increased to 180.

You can create new Orange Revelation Cards by using existing Orange Revelation Cards. You can also trade cards: three Space Revelation Cards for any Orange Space Revelation Card, or five Sun, Moon, Star, or Sky Revelation Cards for any Orange card that isn’t a Space card. Keep in mind that the stats on any new card you create will be randomly generated. To access this feature, go to the phone menu, then Thieves > Revelations > Inscribe (located in the upper-right corner).

We’re updating the wording used to describe Ann Takamaki’s abilities at Awareness levels 0 and 6. This change is purely cosmetic – the abilities themselves will function exactly as they do now.

Here’s how the description for Awareness 0 will change:

Before: When Ann has 4 Passion stacks during her turn, she gains La Vie en Rose for 1 turn. When La Vie en Rose ends, all Passion stacks are lost at the start of her next turn.

After: If Ann has 4 or more Passion stacks at the start of her turn, all stacks are used to gain La Vie en Rose for 1 turn.

With the update, Ann’s ability ‘La Vie en Rose’ now increases Fire damage by 11% for each Passion stack used, up to a maximum of 110%. Previously, the damage increase triggered simply when ‘La Vie en Rose’ was active, regardless of stack usage.

We’ve updated a term in the game. We now refer to a ‘game’ as a ’round,’ but this change doesn’t affect how the game is played.
