Cookie Jam is hosting its weekly Buzzword challenge again! It’s a great way for players to earn special prizes. To do so, you’ll need to answer trivia questions – like what a popular Hawaiian lute is called, or where bees live. The current puzzle asks: “Who leads an orchestra?” Let’s work through it together!
Answer to “Someone who directs an orchestra” in Cookie Jam
This question might be tricky if you don’t enjoy orchestral music, and even more so if you’re still learning English. Let’s get straight to the answer!
- Someone who directs an orchestra – Conductor.
A conductor leads a musical performance, guiding the musicians on when to play and what to do. They typically use hand movements, often with a baton. While the idea of directing groups of musicians dates back to Ancient Egypt, the use of specific gestures wasn’t seen until the 11th century.
Okay, the next clue is about an animal – it says “Playful sea mammal.” I’m not totally sure yet, but I think I might be getting close to the answer! I just need to earn enough points – what they call “honey” here – to buy some more letters and test out my guess. I’m wishing everyone else good luck, and I’ll see you all soon!
