Discord is launching a new feature for 2025 that will recap users’ activity over the year, similar to how Spotify and YouTube summarize listening or viewing habits.
As the end of the year approaches, many online entertainment services are starting to offer users summaries of their activity from the past twelve months.
Spotify’s year-end recap was a pioneer, but now other platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and Discord also let you see your personal usage statistics.

How to get 2025 Discord Recap
Discord’s new Checkpoint feature started becoming available to users on Thursday, December 4th, and will be fully released to everyone within a few days.
Here’s how to get your Discord Checkpoint on mobile and desktop:
- Make sure your app is fully up to date
- On Desktop, look for the icon at the top right of the screen
- On Mobile, tap on your profile picture on the bottom right and then tap the checkpoint banner
Okay, so I was a little confused when I didn’t see my Checkpoint! Apparently, it means either I haven’t been super active on Discord lately, so there wasn’t enough to summarize for 2025, or I accidentally turned off the setting that lets Discord use my info to make things personal. Good to know!
Once you get your checkpoint, Discord will give you a special card – there are 10 different designs to collect. Each card unlocks a unique avatar decoration you can use until January 15, 2026.
