MrBeast bests IShowSpeed & Outdoor Boys as YouTube’s top creator for 6th straight year

MrBeast is YouTube’s most popular creator for the sixth year in a row.

YouTube in 2025 saw some big moments, like CoryxKenshin making a popular return, the Outdoor Boys both retiring and then coming back, and IShowSpeed continuing to travel the world while creating content.

YouTube released its first year-in-review on December 2nd, highlighting the most popular videos, creators, podcasts, and trends from the past year.

YouTube highlighted MrBeast as its top creator, explaining why he has the most subscribers on the platform.

“Among top creators, MrBeast took the number one spot for the sixth year running,” the site wrote.

Top YouTubers of 2025 revealed

YouTube reports that CaylusBlox, a Roblox content creator, came in second place overall, which is a huge accomplishment for the gamer.

Not surprisingly, IShowSpeed came in third. He’s been a hugely popular IRL streamer for years, known for his global tours, exciting broadcasts, and videos that often go viral, especially when they feature celebrities.

Next up was Double Date, an Australian channel hosted by Jasmin, James, Cadel, and Mia. Surprisingly, this challenge-based channel became the most-watched in the world in May, even surpassing MrBeast.

Charlie Kirk, a political commentator, finished in sixth place. He was tragically killed earlier this year while giving a speech at a university.

Law By Mike, a legal expert on YouTube who creates educational videos, finished in seventh place. He’s known for explaining complex criminal cases, clarifying confusing legal issues, and even talking directly with people who have committed crimes.

I was so excited to see CoryxKenshin back! After taking some time away, he returned in late 2024 and announced he’s working on a new manga. It’s awesome to see him creating again, and his announcement landed him at number eight on the charts – a fantastic start to his comeback!

Zack D. Films is a 3D animator who creates engaging videos on topics like stories, history, and science. He started his YouTube channel in 2021 and has quickly gained a large following, currently boasting over 24.6 million subscribers.

Outdoor Boys finishes in the top 10 even though he stopped making videos regularly in May, citing overwhelming attention. He still occasionally creates content and recently helped out on the MyLifeOutdoors YouTube channel while its host, Steven, takes time to support his wife through her cancer treatment.

Okay, so MrBeast is saying he’s going to seriously level up his content in 2026, and honestly, it looks like he might win the YouTube crown for the seventh year running. But you never know – maybe someone will finally challenge him in the next year or so. It’s gonna be interesting to watch!
