A new roster update for Madden 26 is coming out soon, bringing the in-game teams up to date with the latest player moves. This update reflects recent trades, free agent signings, injuries, and other changes to team lineups. Keep in mind this update only changes the rosters – it doesn’t include any gameplay improvements or bug fixes. Still, it’s great to play with current rosters when competing against friends. Let’s get right into the release date for the Madden 26 Week 14 Roster Update.
Madden 26 Week 14 Roster Update Release Date
As a huge Madden fan, I’m tracking the release date for the Week 13 roster update in Madden 26, and it looks like it’s coming on Thursday, December 4th, 2025! These updates usually drop before the Thursday Night Football game, so we’re expecting it before the Lions play the Cowboys. Either way, it should be available before the Sunday games kick off, which is awesome!
Week 14 starts with an important game between the Cowboys and the Lions. Both teams are competing for a playoff spot and really need a win. The Cowboys have won their last three games, but the Lions have had a mixed record lately, going 2-3 after their mid-season break.
Shedeur Sanders will be starting his third NFL game this week when the Browns host the Titans in Cleveland. Currently 1-1 as a starter, he has a good opportunity to improve to 2-1 given the Titans’ recent difficulties. This game is also crucial for Browns coach Kevin Stefanski, who needs to start winning consistently to keep his job.
This Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts play the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts have been struggling lately, with injuries piling up and only one win in their last four games. The Jaguars, on the other hand, are playing well, having won four out of five games since their week off and are aiming to stay at the top of their division.
There’s another important division rivalry happening at the same time: the Steelers versus the Ravens in Baltimore. Pittsburgh started the season strong at 4-1 but has since struggled, going 2-5 overall. Baltimore, meanwhile, has been playing well with a 5-1 record since their week off, although they recently lost to Cincinnati.
The Eagles and Chargers play on Monday night to finish Week 14. Philadelphia has lost its last two games, but could have an easier time this week if Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is still recovering from surgery. Even if Herbert doesn’t play, the Eagles will still need to improve their offense to stay ahead in the NFC East.
There’s all sorts of exciting matchups in Week 14, and we can’t wait to see what happens.
