Although Blokees and Yolopark are the most well-known brands, Auldey also offers a variety of model kits and collectible figures. Now, they’re expanding into a new area by creating toys based on the original movie from the franchise.
The Alpha Action Elite Wave 3 “Chaotic Threshold” series features both well-known and lesser-known Autobots and Decepticons. It includes different versions of the Decepticon leader from various points in time, along with some unique and interesting villainous characters. These figures are carefully designed to resemble the original toys and cartoon appearances, making them ideal for recreating classic scenes like the Battle of Autobot City.
New Auldey Transformers Release Gives Megatron a Major Upgrade
The latest wave of Alpha Action Elite figures, called “Chaotic Threshold,” features characters from the original Transformers series. New images showcase Hot Rod – who will eventually become Rodimus Prime and take over as leader of the Autobots after Optimus Prime – alongside Bumblebee, Brawn, and Ricochet.
One figure was originally released only in Japan before being repainted as Jazz, and wasn’t featured in the movie. Brawn, on the other hand, died in the film while defending an Autobot shuttle. Bumblebee is depicted with an energon cube, though it’s unclear if this will be included with the toy. Considering the other Autobots have small weapons, it’s possible the Mini-Bot will as well.
A new image highlights the Galvatron toy, which blends elements of his original design with his appearance from the animated movie. While the overall shape is based on the classic toy, the colors match his movie look. The image also features Megatron’s body, shown during his transformation into Galvatron by Unicron. Another picture shows the Insecticons emerging from a warp gate, each carrying blasters and closely resembling their original forms.
Although we don’t have a firm release date yet, these figures should be available by the end of the year. They can’t transform, but they feature lots of moving parts, letting you pose them in dynamic ways and recreate iconic moments from the original Generation 1 series.
