While streaming live from Dubai, Russian streamer Subo was attacked by MMA fighter Shovkhal Churchaev. Reports indicate Subo had paid Churchaev approximately $30,000 to appear on his stream.
The situation unfolded during a live stream of a gambling game, where Subo, also known as Subhan Mamedov, repeatedly provoked Churchaev.
Reports from Russian media say the streamer made fun of the fighter, accusing him of pleading with UFC president Dana White for a contract. The streamer even alleged that Churchaev begged on his knees during this request.
Russian outlet Gazeta reported that this allegation was the trigger for what came next.
Fighter snaps on stream and attacks Russian streamer
A video online shows Churchaev repeatedly slapping and hitting Subo in the head and face. He then shoves Subo, knees him, and appears to easily overpower him while yelling in Russian.
It was pretty intense watching the whole thing unfold. Churchaev kept shouting “Izvinis!” – basically demanding an apology – and then he started yelling “Vstan’ na koleni!” which means “Get on your knees!” He really wanted Subo to beg for forgiveness right there in front of everyone watching.
Subo doesn’t fight back and can be heard complaining that he’s bleeding.

The broadcast was taken down quickly after the incident, but parts of it have spread widely online and could cause significant problems.
I was reading about what could happen to Churchaev, and his lawyer, Maxim Sylvester, explained that Dubai takes public safety really seriously. Apparently, depending on how things go, Churchaev could be hit with some big fines, even jail time, get deported, or be banned from traveling there again. It sounds like a pretty tough situation.
So, I was reading about this MMA fighter getting into trouble in Dubai, and apparently, they’re really strict about public order there. Like, seriously strict. Sylvester was saying you can get hit with huge fines or even jail time for things like fighting or just being disrespectful in public. It sounds like this fighter could be in some serious hot water because of it.
According to Russian news sources, Subo reportedly paid around $30,000 (approximately 3 million rubles) for Churchaev to join his livestream. Following the incident, Subo immediately stopped the broadcast and removed all recordings from his channel.
So far, neither Subo nor Churchaev has commented publicly, but their disagreement is already a major topic in the Russian streaming world this year.
Russian fitness coach Dmitry Nuyanzin tragically died while trying to gain weight to promote his weight loss program. He was attempting to gain 50 pounds by eating an extremely high-calorie diet – 10,000 calories each day – and suffered health complications.
