Bandai Namco has released new details for Code Vein II, including screenshots of the MagMell Base, its features, and important characters. They also shared a Prologue Trailer that gives a preview of the story leading into the game.
We’re excited to introduce two new important characters: Iris MagMell (voiced by Ai Kakuma in Japanese) and Jadwiga (voiced by Sayaka Oohara in Japanese). Jadwiga will manage the base’s shops and smithy, with help from her many assistants who sell items both inside and outside. Iris, on the other hand, will be dedicated to researching and developing new equipment to enhance a Revenant’s powers.
Besides Jadwiga’s shops, the MagMell base will feature a training ground for players to experiment with different character builds. Like the first game, Code Vein II’s base will also include a relaxing hot spring area. Players can also use the dressing room to customize how their character looks, even changing their body type.
Check out the latest trailer and screenshots below! Code Vein II launches globally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC (via Steam) on January 30, 2026. Players in Japan will be able to purchase the console versions starting January 29.
