Marvel Studios has unveiled the logo for the upcoming 2026 Netflix series, Daredevil: Born Again, giving fans a look at the show’s new direction. The logo matches early footage and suggests a smoother path forward after some production challenges with the first season.
At New York Comic Con 2025, Marvel Television revealed the first trailer for Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again. This new season continues the reboot of the series, which began earlier this year as part of Marvel Studios’ collaboration with Netflix.
The trailer ended by showing a new logo: the “Daredevil” title changed from red to black. This change reflects the hero, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), and his new black suit that he’ll be wearing in Season 2.
This logo is special because it’s the first for a Disney+ Marvel series to get a different color scheme for its second season. While other Marvel series like What If…? and Loki have had multiple seasons, they kept the same logo throughout.
Daredevil: Born Again, on the other hand, is getting its own rebrand for Season 2.
The new, darker logo isn’t just a visual change – it suggests a grimmer season ahead. Although the trailer revealed at New York Comic Con hasn’t been officially published, fans have been able to see parts of it. Krysten Ritter posted a brief clip on her Instagram Stories, giving many their first look.
How Dark Will Born Again Season 2 Be?
Season 2 will continue to be rated for mature audiences, indicating Marvel Studios isn’t shying away from the gritty, realistic tone of Daredevil’s world as Wilson Fisk tightens his grip on New York City. The new logo, featuring black and red, appears to represent Daredevil’s increasingly dark outlook and the difficult choices he might have to make.
Initial previews and a leaked trailer suggest the second season of the show will be inspired by the “Shadowland” storyline from Marvel comics. In that story, Daredevil takes control of Hell’s Kitchen and tries to impose his own brand of justice. Although the supernatural aspects might be less prominent, the central conflict – Daredevil struggling with his own sense of right and wrong – will be a key focus.
As the city faces strict martial law and heroes like Jessica Jones rejoin the action, the second season of Born Again is looking to be the most thrilling Daredevil story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2015.
