It seems like new gaming mice are appearing everywhere these days. While some are actually good quality, others are simply basic mice being sold at a much higher price thanks to added features like flashy RGB lights.
The Corsair M75 wireless gaming mouse aims to stand out in a crowded market by providing a solid, no-nonsense option that delivers all the essential features you need in a mouse, without unnecessary extras.
This Corsair mouse, like many of the brand’s products, is well-built and has a high-quality sensor. However, its price is a bit high considering the current economic climate.
The Little Mouse That Could

The Corsair M75 wireless mouse costs $79.99 and comes in a simple, but nicely designed, box. Inside, you’ll find the mouse itself, a braided USB cable for charging or wired use, and a small wireless receiver to plug into your computer. It also includes extra side buttons if you want to customize how the mouse functions.
I tested this mouse alongside the K65 Plus keyboard, and I appreciated a small detail: the cables and wireless receivers for each device are color-coded for easy identification. The keyboard’s connectors have black interiors, while the mouse’s are yellow. It’s a minor feature, but it’s surprisingly useful when trying to keep things tidy.
Corsair heavily emphasizes that the M75 mouse is incredibly lightweight, and they’re right. It truly feels like it weighs almost nothing, officially clocking in at just 24 grams.
Setting up the Corsair M75 was simple. I just plugged in the USB receiver, pressed the pairing button on the bottom of the mouse, and it connected right away.
Taking the M75 Mouse into Battle
I was worried the M75’s lightweight design would make it difficult to get used to, especially switching from a heavier, wired mouse. However, the feet on the bottom provide excellent grip, even on my older mousepad.
Okay, as a dog owner who’s constantly battling fur tumbleweeds, I was really happy to see how well the M75 mouse holds up! Seriously, it doesn’t seem to trap hair, dust, or anything like that in all the little nooks and crannies. Even better, the sensor area and pads are pretty much safe from my furry friend’s shedding, and if anything did stick, it was super easy to just wipe off with my fingers. That’s a huge win for me!
The M75 mouse is comfortable for both left- and right-handed users thanks to its design and easily swapped side buttons. Switching its configuration is simple – just hold down a specific combination of keys on the mouse for a few seconds.
The mouse feels as light as a feather […]
The device is comfortable to hold and use at various angles and desk heights, and I didn’t experience any discomfort even after using it for extended periods.
As with other Corsair products, the battery life on this is surprisingly long. I only needed to charge it once after using it for a whole month, both for work and gaming. It’s too early to say if it will still perform this well after a year, but so far, I’m really impressed.
An Almost Great Mouse
I really like how compact and lightweight the M75 is – it’s super portable! But honestly, I wish it was just a tiny bit taller. As someone with longer fingers, I often find my ring and pinky fingers kind of drag when I fully use the main buttons. It’s not a huge deal, but a little extra height would make it perfect.
The mouse’s slim design makes the side buttons hard to reach and practically unusable. They’re positioned so far to the side that they’re uncomfortable to press, which is likely why Corsair doesn’t enable them by default.
[…] the pads on the bottom of the device give it plenty of grip […]
Without changing any settings in the ICUE software, the two buttons on the side of the mouse only control basic mouse functions. For instance, the lower button adjusts the DPI, and you can use them to switch the mouse to left-handed mode.
You can disable these accidental presses by turning off the ‘All-Side Buttons’ option in your device settings. While it won’t improve how comfortable the device feels to hold, it’s reassuring to know you won’t mistakenly press those buttons because your fingers won’t be able to reach them.
The Corsair M75 wireless gaming mouse isn’t perfect for its usual price of $79.99, and you might want to consider other options. But if you can find it on sale for around $49.99, it’s a great value for the money.

Score: 7/10
The Corsair M75 is a lightweight and well-made wireless gaming mouse that focuses on the essentials. It delivers good performance for its price, but its small size might not be comfortable for everyone, and the side buttons aren’t very practical. While it’s a solid mouse overall, it’s a bit expensive for what you get.
