The world’s oldest bus driver is 95-years-old and has no plans of retiring

A 95-year-old man in Texas has been confirmed as the world’s oldest working bus driver, and he plans to keep driving for the foreseeable future.

Okay, so Guinness World Records just verified this is amazing – a 94-year-old named Raymond Hager from Wichita Falls is officially the oldest gamer! He’s been playing for almost 30 years, and they finally gave him the record at 94 years and 176 days old. Seriously cool to see someone keep gaming for so long!

“I’m the oldest bus driver in the world,” Hager told KFDX/KJTL.

Hager has been driving for 27 years, but he actually started much younger – he first got behind the wheel at 14. He’s always preferred driving larger vehicles.

95-year-old bus driver has a perfect driving record

Hager initially intended to retire at age 95, but now says he plans to continue working as long as his health allows.

He claims he truly enjoys touring and doesn’t mind being on the road. The city recently recognized his contributions by proclaiming November 18th as Raymond Hager Day.

Guinness recognizes Hager’s perfect safety record. When asked about it, he shared with local reporters, “I’m incredibly proud and thankful to have accomplished this – it’s amazing for a country boy like me.”

Hager isn’t the only bus driver getting attention this year. Back in November, a man in Canada hijacked a city bus, surprisingly continued the route, let passengers off, and even turned away someone without a valid ticket – performing the job remarkably well, even better than some professional drivers.

Okay, so you won’t believe this – I was reading about this guy in Ireland who totally lost it when his bus was full. Instead of waiting for the next one, he just… stole a bus! Can you believe it? He drove the thing over 150 miles all the way to Dublin! Seriously, it’s like something out of a video game – a really bizarre side quest, maybe.
