The first part of Stranger Things Season 5 cleverly features a popular 1980s song, and the singer, Tiffany, has been talking about how it was used in the show.
As a gamer who grew up in the 80s, I gotta say, Stranger Things nails the music. The Duffer Brothers, the show’s creators, really packed it with awesome tracks from that decade, and it totally adds to the vibe.
Kate Bush’s song ‘Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God)’ was featured to great effect in Season 4, and Eddie Munson brought a lot of energy with his heavy metal music during his time on the show.

Tiffany says Stranger Things scene “gave me goosebumps”
At the beginning of Stranger Things Season 5, Episode 2, Holly Wheeler is kidnapped by Vecna, who she mistakenly thinks is a friend named Mr. Watsit. He takes her to a house, claiming he’s protecting her.
To cheer up his captive, Vecna gives her a tape player and a Tiffany cassette, which she really enjoys. While she’s left unattended, Holly puts the tape on and dances to the popular 1987 song, ‘I Think We’re Alone Now.’
Tiffany reacted to the scene online, tweeting: “So cool to hear your song in my favorite show! It gave me chills. Feeling like I’m all alone in the Upside Down now.”
So thrilled to hear your song featured in Stranger Things! It gave me chills. Feeling a bit lonely now, imagining being alone in the Upside Down. #StrangerThings5 #Netflix

Just as ‘Running Up That Hill’ became popular again after being featured in Stranger Things, Tiffany’s song is now quickly gaining attention and spreading online.
The ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ music video has been available on YouTube for 14 years, and it’s recently gotten a lot of new comments.
One person commented that they discovered this place because of the show Stranger Things, adding that the excitement surrounding the new season is building and they’re fully on board.
Man, I keep seeing people talk about that ending to Stranger Things Season 5, Episode 3! It really got everyone going. And honestly? Someone pointed out that Holly seemed… surprisingly okay with being kidnapped, which is a little weird, right?
Kate Bush’s song experienced a huge surge in popularity after being featured in a recent show, and we expect a similar boost for Tiffany’s hit song very soon.
