Michael B. Jordan is a well-established actor, and 2025 brought him a new challenge: playing twins in a film after building his career through superhero, action, and dramatic roles.
When asked whether he’d submit ‘Smoke’ or ‘Stack’ for an Oscar nomination, Jordan jokingly responded that it was a very ambitious question.
“As much fun as I had with Stack, which was a lot of fun, I think for me, probably Smoke.”
The actor explained that he felt most connected to the character of Smoke, saying it was the role furthest from his own personality. He described both characters as challenging to create, requiring extensive research, input from twin consultants, and a lot of personal effort to fully understand and portray them.
Filmmaker Ryan Coogler jumped in, adding, “He’s closer to Stack as a person.”
Jordan concluded, “If I had to put my money on somebody, it’d be Smoke.”
The 2025 film Sinners is receiving widespread acclaim. Critics and audiences alike overwhelmingly approve, with a 97% and 96% rating respectively. It’s also been designated ‘Certified Fresh’ and ‘Verified Hot’. Many are praising the performance of Lindsay Lohan, known for her dual role in the 1998 hit The Parent Trap.
Sinners Is Making Its Way Back to Theaters
Ryan Coogler’s 2025 horror film became a surprising success. The Oscar-nominated director has already earned $2.75 billion at the box office with his previous films, and this movie exceeded all expectations.
I was really hoping this horror movie would do well, and it totally crushed it! With a $90 million budget, it seemed like a big gamble, but it ended up making over $367.6 million worldwide! That’s a massive win for Warner Bros., and honestly, I’m so glad it was a success.
Fans can still experience Sinners on the big screen. Although the movie is predicted to receive multiple nominations at the Academy Awards, it will also be shown in select IMAX theaters for a limited time. It will play for one week beginning December 12th, with some locations offering a special screening on December 11th.
