As a huge Madden fan, I was excited to see the latest player ratings update for Madden 26, especially with Week 12 of the NFL season coming up! It’s cool to see guys like Trey McBride and Drake Maye getting some love with boosted overalls. But it’s also interesting to see who took a bit of a hit. I decided to dive into all the changes to see exactly who went up and down in this new update – it’s always fun to see how the game reflects what’s happening in real life!

— Madden NFL 26 (@EAMaddenNFL) November 21, 2025
Trey McBride (TE), Arizona Cardinals – 95 OVR (+1)
Even though the Cardinals haven’t been playing well this year, tight end McBride is consistently performing at a high level, no matter who’s throwing him the ball. He’s had an outstanding couple of weeks, with 19 receptions for 242 yards and two touchdowns. Since the team lost to the Colts, veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett has quickly come to rely on him, targeting him 57 times. If you play Madden fantasy football, you should definitely add McBride to your team.
Kyle Hamilton (SS), Baltimore Ravens – 92 OVR (+1)
Kyle Hamilton played exceptionally well against the Browns, recording nine tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble, which definitely warrants an increase in his player rating. Baltimore’s defense as a whole has been very effective recently, limiting opponents to only 57 points over the past four games. Hamilton’s contributions have been key to the team’s four-game winning streak following their bye week.
Mark Andrews (TE), Baltimore Ravens – 91 OVR (+1)
Mark Andrews’ 35-yard touchdown run on a crucial fourth down likely improved his player ratings. He also contributed with three catches for 32 yards, though he hasn’t reached 300 receiving yards for the season. Despite not having a standout performance, the Baltimore offense has been consistently good since their bye week, scoring at least 27 points in three of their last four victories, and Andrews deserves recognition for his part in that success.
Drake Maye (QB), New England Patriots – 87 OVR (+1)
Drake Maye is currently having an impressive season, leading the league in passing yards with 2,836 and ranking fourth in touchdown passes with 20. His QBR of 73.2 is also the second-best in the league. Even though the Patriots have played some weaker teams – like Tennessee, Cleveland, the Jets, and New Orleans – Maye’s consistent performance and a talented group of receivers are key to their success.
George Pickens (WR), Dallas Cowboys – 87 OVR (+1)
CeeDee Lamb had his best receiving game in over a month as the Cowboys decisively beat the Raiders. He’s currently second in the NFL in total receiving yards and tied for third in touchdown catches. He’ll be looking to continue that success this Sunday in a crucial matchup against the Eagles.
Additionally, several other players received an increase to their Madden 26 Player Rating:
- Brian Branch – 91 OVR (+1)
- Greg Rousseau – 88 OVR (+1)
- Drake Maye – 87 OVR (+1)
- Jaylen Waddle – 86 OVR (+1)
- Robert Spillane – 85 OVR (+1)
- Jordan Love – 85 OVR (+1)
- Nate Landman 84 OVR (+3)
- Jameson Williams – 83 OVR (+1)
- Brock Purdy – 83 OVR (+1)
However, other notable players received a decrease to their Madden 26 Player Rating:
- Minkah Fitzpatrick – 90 OVR (-2)
- Jared Goff – 88 OVR (-1)
- Jared Verse – 87 OVR (-1)
- Garrett Wilson – 86 OVR (-1)
- Kenny Moore II – 86 OVR (-1)
- Jalen Hurts – 86 OVR (-1)
- Brandon Aiyuk – 85 OVR (-1)
- Sam Darnold – 84 OVR (-1)
Week 12 of the NFL season kicked off last night with a surprising win for the Houston Texans over the Buffalo Bills, 23-19. Bills quarterback Josh Allen has now lost four out of five games against Houston, and this performance was likely his worst of the season. The Bills’ offensive line had a tough night, allowing Allen to be sacked eight times, and his two interceptions also contributed to the loss.
Houston’s early season struggles seem to be behind them, as they’ve won six out of their last eight games after starting 0-3. Davis Mills has been playing very well as a replacement for the injured C.J. Stroud and remains undefeated as a starter. Despite this improvement, the team still needs to make significant progress if they hope to compete with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Indianapolis Colts will play the Kansas City Chiefs later this week. The Colts are well-rested after a bye week and hope to start a new winning streak, while the Chiefs are trying to bounce back from two straight losses and improve their season record.
I’m really excited to finally see Shedeur Sanders start for the Browns! They’re heading to Las Vegas to play the Raiders, and it’s a big moment for him. His first game against the Ravens was tough – he only completed four passes out of sixteen – but I’m hoping he can lead the team to a win and break their three-game losing streak. I’m really rooting for him!
