Soon after starting Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, Eris will ask you to search for a secret treasure within the Kalina dungeon – the first one you unlock. Finding it depends a bit on luck, but once you know the location, it’s quite simple. As a reward, you’ll receive the blueprint for a powerful new large sword called The Vow.
Where to find the Hidden Treasure in Kalina
You can find a hidden treasure by visiting the Blacksmith’s room during a Kalina run. Look for the hammer icon on the room map – it usually appears around the middle of your run.
Inside the Blacksmith’s room, look for a hidden path to the right, blocked by some rocks. This path leads to a green portal that takes you to a challenging obstacle course full of traps. You’ll encounter both bear traps and wind traps. Luckily, you can easily roll through the bear traps, and because rolling doesn’t have a delay, you can quickly get past them.
The wind-based obstacles are pretty straightforward. Just watch for pauses in the wind and move through them during those breaks. You’ll find the blueprint for The Vow at the end of the room.
The Vow
The Vow sword is unique because it doesn’t lose durability when you attack – instead, it slowly loses 2% durability every second. You can get it for 4,000 Coins and 4 Sun Eater materials. This design encourages constant attacking, and if you enjoy an aggressive playstyle, it significantly increases your damage output.
