PGA Tour 2K25 is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, bringing realistic golf to the new system. Following other 2K sports games on the Switch 2, it’s great to see the latest PGA Tour installment included. PGA Tour 2K25 builds on what players loved in previous versions, with some fresh updates that make it worth a look. Let’s take a closer look at what it offers.

PGA Tour 2K25 Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date – February 6th, 2026

PGA Tour 2K25 will be released on Nintendo Switch on Friday, February 6th, 2025. While the price hasn’t been announced, it’s likely to cost $69.99, similar to the price on other gaming systems. Pre-order information is also currently unavailable.

PGA Tour 2K25 Gameplay

PGA Tour 2K25 has been significantly improved with the addition of EvoSwing, a new system that makes shots more realistic with different types of shots, ball trajectories, and how the ball rolls. You can try out this new swing on any of the game’s 29+ courses, including:

  • 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club
  • 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club
  • The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club
  • Old Course at St. Andrews (Season 2)

PGA Tour 2K25 has several ways to play. You can enjoy a quick match, or dive into MyPLAYER to design your own golfer and then build their career in MyCAREER, striving for success along the way.

I’m really excited that PGA Tour 2K25 has Topgolf mode – perfect when I just want a quick and fun round. Plus, the Course Designer is back, which means I can build my own courses and even challenge my friends to play them! It’s awesome being able to share and play courses everyone creates.

For those who haven’t played PGA Tour 2K25 yet, here are some of the biggest changes.

We’ve revamped MyPLAYER with a new Attributes Point system and improved Skill Trees. You can now also upgrade your equipment through a new progression system. Plus, you’ll be able to partner with brands and improve your relationships with them by completing goals, which will help level up your gear over time.

MyCAREER now lets you compete in major tournaments for the first time. It’ll take effort to reach that level, but you have more control over your career path thanks to a dynamic career simulation.

In PGA Tour 2K25, you’ll earn experience points (XP) to progress through the Clubhouse Pass. Each new season introduces a fresh pass with more in-game content to unlock. Plus, the game is regularly updated with new daily, weekly, and monthly challenges and rewards to keep you engaged.

PGA Tour 2K25 lets you play solo or with friends. You can join a Society to compete in casual events, and even add a little friendly competition by wagering your VC. With game modes like Stroke Play, Match Play, and Scramble, there are plenty of ways to have fun with your friends.

If you’re really looking for a challenge, PGA Tour 2K25 has Ranked mode where I can put my skills to the test. I can jump into Ranked Tour tournaments and climb the leaderboard to see how I stack up against other players!
