Earlier this month, Microsoft announced the games coming to Xbox and PC Game Pass. Today, the highly anticipated Star Wars: Outlaws is finally here, and there’s also a surprise addition: Quarantine Zone: The Last Check. This new game puts you in charge of guarding a quarantine zone on the edge of a zombie-infested city, where you’ll be checking everyone who tries to pass through.
Both games can be accessed by Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.
Star Wars: Outlaws is an open-world adventure game played from a third-person perspective, set within the Star Wars galaxy. Players take on the role of Key Vess, a smuggler who is trying to make a name for herself by completing jobs for different criminal organizations.
The game lets you journey across planets and through outer space. As the character Vess, you can choose to fight enemies directly or use stealth to complete your objectives. A helpful companion named Nix, a cute furry creature, isn’t just for show – it provides valuable support by distracting foes and more.
Okay, so Star Wars: Outlaws had a rocky start, and Ubisoft actually said the Star Wars name itself wasn’t as strong as it used to be, which hurt the game’s launch. But honestly, it’s doing way better now! It’s got “mostly positive” reviews on Steam, and I think that’s because the developers really stepped up and fixed things with a solid recovery plan. I’m glad they turned it around!
