Introduction

Yukong Character Guide

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent honing my skills across various games, I can confidently say that the stat priority and team recommendations for Yukong provided here are gold for any Honkai Impact player, whether you’re a Free-to-Play or Premium user.

Yukong is an Imaginary-Type character who adheres to the Philosophy of Harmony. Her special ability boosts the attack power of all her teammates. When she unleashes her ultimate, not only does it amplify her skill, but it also enhances the critical rate and critical damage for all allies while inflicting damage on a single target enemy.

Skills Overview

Basic Attack – Arrowslinger

Yukong Character Guide

Deals 50%–110% of Yukong’s ATK as Imaginary DMG to a target enemy.

Skill – Emboldening Salvo

Yukong Character Guide

Acquires two sets of “Thundering Strings” (up to a maximum of two sets). When “Thundering Strings” are activated, the attack power of all allies increases by 40%-88%. Every time an ally’s turn ends, Yukong loses one set of “Thundering Strings”, except when Yukong gains “Thundering Strings” by using a skill, in which case it is not removed.

Ultimate – Diving Kestrel

Yukong Character Guide

As a gamer, when I activate “Roaring Bowstrings” on my Yukong character, it not only unleashes an imaginary damage equal to 228% to 410.4% of her attack power onto a single enemy, but also boosts the critical rate and critical damage of all my allies by 21% to 29.4% and 39% to 70.2%, respectively.

Talent – Seven Layers, One Arrow

Beyond its standard damage, Basic ATK also inflicts Imaginary Damage that ranges from 40% to 88% of Yukong’s Attack. Moreover, it amplifies the Toughness Reduction of this attack by a factor of 2. This effect can be reactivated after a gap of one turn.

Technique – Chasing the Wind

Yukong Character Guide

Following the application of her method, Yukong activates her Sprint phase for a duration of 20 seconds. During this phase, her speed of movement accelerates by 35%. Additionally, when Yukong engages in combat by assaulting adversaries, she accumulates two stacks of “Roaring Bowstrings”.

Ascension 2 – Archerion

Yukong can resist 1 debuff application for 1 time. This effect can be triggered again in 2 turn(s).

Ascension 4 – Bowmaster

When Yukong is on the field, Imaginary DMG dealt by all allies increases by 12%.

Ascension 6 – Majestas

When “Roaring Bowstrings” is activated, Yukong gains an extra 2 Energy points each time one of his allies performs an action.

TLDR

Yukong, as a 4-star character, offers numerous advantages, especially at level 6, but there’s an essential drawback: she can be challenging to build and play due to her unique buff mechanism and negative impact on team Spirit Points (SP).

Yukong Character Guide

2) But the Battle Isn’t Over

Boosts the user’s Energy Restoration Speed by 10 to 18 percent and grants a Skill Point when the user activates their Ultimate on an ally. This bonus can be activated once after every two uses of the user’s Ultimate. When the user employs their Skill, the following ally (with the exception of the user) inflicts 30 to 50 percent increased damage for one turn.

3) Past and Future

As a seasoned adventurer who has faced countless perilous encounters, I’ve learned the value of every edge I can gain to survive. One such edge comes from my enchanted gear – a trinket that, when activated, amplifies the damage dealt by my allies for a single turn. It’s not just about boosting their power; it’s about ensuring we all make it through the fight alive and move one step closer to our shared goal. This little artifact has saved us more times than I can count, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in my inventory.

Team Recommendations

Basic Team for F2P / Premium

Yukong Character Guide

Yukong is an exceptional support character, particularly powerful at level 6. To maximize her attack buff ability, position Yukong just before your main damage dealer (Clara/Seele/Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae) when using skills like ‘But the Battle Isn’t Over’ or ‘Past and Future.’ However, if you employ strategies such as Planetary Rendezvous (LC), it becomes more dependable since it doesn’t have any specific conditions and is always active, assuming your main damage dealer is of Imaginary type.

Eidolons

Yukong Character Guide

Best Eidolons: E2 & E6

1. **E1 (Aerial Marshal)**: At the start of a fight, all allies’ Speed is boosted by 10% for 2 turns.

In simple terms, when an E6 Yukong unleashes her ultimate without any Roaring Bowstrings bonuses first, one Roaring Bowstrings bonus is automatically granted before the attack. This temporary boost includes increased Attack, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage.
