Where Sky is Clear and Glory Shines: Guardian Tower Quest Guide | Wuthering Waves

As soon as you complete Main Quest Chapter II Act V titled “Shadow of Glory” and gain access to the Septimont region, you’ll be ready to embark on this new adventure. Simply head towards the northernmost part of Septimont, which lies just west of Mournfell Canyon, as indicated in the map provided.

Move towards the large tower ahead, and it will become visible. Near its entrance, you’ll encounter a lady called Tulia. Engage in conversation with her, as she’ll explain the ‘Hero’s Slash’ technique to you.

Following our chat, make your way to the golden, slashed circle and trigger the action indicated there. This should initiate a mini-game-like challenge.

To finish the mini-game, please adjust the large, golden vertical line so that it neatly slices through every rock floating near the entrance, making sure the line is clean and straight, similar to the example provided.

After finishing the mini-game, the obstruction preventing you from accessing the tower disappears. Then, walk straight into the tower, turn to your right, and notice an unusual painting tucked away in a corner. Engage with it to advance in the quest.

Once that’s done, keep track of the mission icon to advance further up the tower. You’ll encounter Tacet Discords and other adversaries ahead, along with potential confrontations throughout your journey, so remember to stay battle-ready!

Immediately after vanquishing your enemies, search for a golden suit of armor located right across from the doorway. Give it a try to find out more about it!

Climbing Up!

After dealing with the armor, take a glance around the room and notice the wooden walkway nearby. Make your way towards it and continue following its straightforward route.

At the summit of this trail, you’ll encounter another round of Hero’s Slash minigame, similar to before but featuring three rocks. To progress, simply angle your slash so it simultaneously clears all three stones diagonally, which will then lower the wooden obstruction barring the primary pathway above.

Head towards the indicated marker and you’ll eventually encounter another small group of Tacet Discords. Defeat them, and then turn your attention towards the center of the tower, as marked above. Interestingly, it appears that the objective to “observe the scene outside the window” automatically completes shortly after defeating the enemies.

Regardless of your choice, proceed by moving towards the next location indicated by the quest symbol, which can be accessed after lowering the wooden barrier and entering the adjoining room.

Upon entering the room, glance to your left and examine a painting that Tulia has pointed out. Then, ascend the stairs within the room to make your way to the upper level.

As soon as you ascend the stairs, you’ll find Isth enveloped in peculiar strands. To initiate another mini-game, utilize the symbol known as “Hero’s Slash” nearby.

This time, you have to make a complete horizontal cut through the three stones over there. But beware, Hero’s Slash is notorious for having bugs, with players frequently finding fewer than 3 rocks appearing. If that happens, just transport yourself to another location and then come back. However, it should resemble the depicted scenario.

Time to Go Down, It Seems!

After completing the Hero’s Slash puzzle, hop onto the central platform in the room and investigate Isth. You will then be prompted to leap off the platform and land on a small ledge situated near where Isth’s head rests. Just gently glide your way down there; it’s a safe spot!

Enter the room via the ledge, take out another set of adversaries to proceed, this is part of the “Where Sky is Clear and Glory Shines: Guardian Tower” mission in Wuthering Waves. After vanquishing the foes, examine the painting and the golden sword inside the subsequent chamber.

Once you arrive in the specified room, head towards your right side and scrutinize another painting there. The artist behind these paintings seems to have been quite busy and productive, indeed!

As soon as you finish examining the painting, some adversaries will appear. Take them down to avenge their surprise attack on you. Once they’re handled, interact with the glittering artifact on the stand to absorb it. Then, simply follow the quest guide to delve further into the tower.

Just beyond lies a chamber housing an adversary, a picture, and a golden javelin. First, dispose of the adversary using your preferred method. Next, engage with both the image and the spear in that sequence.

Broken Platforms and Beyond

After speaking with the golden spear, follow the quest marker which will lead you to a room with damaged platforms. Start by jumping onto the platform on your right first. Utilize this platform to leap onto the central platform that bears the Hero’s Slash symbol.

In this Hero’s Slash puzzle, things are a bit altered. The stones are scattered too widely for a regular slash to clear them. But

Following that, a Wingray will appear closely by your side. Engage with it to hop aboard; it’ll lift you upward towards the tower and then back to where Isth resides. Interact with Isth immediately upon touching down on its platform to pass along the memories you’ve gathered.

With that done, follow Isth’s instructions by jumping off the platform to the spot shown above.

Then, just follow the stairs up using the Cuddle Wuddle jump spots that Isth leads you to.

Follow Tulia’s instructions and pass through this door, which opens up to the tower’s outer area.

Stepping out, I’m greeted by a Quick Time Event (QTE) prompt. I press it, and the view shifts as if Isth’s specter is guiding me from the side. Continuing to move right while tapping on the QTE prompts that pop up will eventually lead me to a pavilion.

One Last Cut!

As soon as you touch down, your character will spot a radiant sword. Interact with this sword to grant your hero one final powerful slash using his Hero’s Slash ability.

Immediately after completing the task, another Hero’s Slash symbol will come up near the pavilion. Interact with this symbol, and you’ll effortlessly execute a charming move that shatters the bonds of hatred and sorrow!

Immediately afterward, glance below and descend to the lower part of the tower where you’ll discover a “Tidal Supply Chest” containing a “1 Lustrous Tide” and an item left behind by Isth. Don’t forget to pick up Isth’s item to complete the quest.

Once that’s done, take a peek below and make your way down to the tower’s lower level. There, you’ll come across a “Tidal Supply Chest” with a “1 Lustrous Tide” inside, as well as an item from Isth. Remember to grab Isth’s item to wrap up the quest.

To wrap up the “Where Sky is Clear and Glory Shines: Guardian Tower” quest in Wuthering Waves 2.4, all you have to do is follow these steps. Finishing this mission will automatically initiate the next one, titled “When the Sky Watches us Meet.”
