Kuro Games has revealed that the latest update for the game “Wuthering Waves” is coming on June 12 (UTC+8)! Dubbed version 2.4 – “Lightly We Toss the Crown,” this update will be available on Android, iOS, PC (Windows and Epic Games Store), and PlayStation 5. The new release will feature a fresh region and two novel Resonators to explore and enjoy.

Following their partnership with Ciaccona in deciphering the enigma surrounding the Golden Anthem, the Rover now shifts focus towards investigating Cartethyia’s mysterious vanishing act. The Rover suspects she might have headed to Septimont, one of Rinascita’s city-states, as her signature seems to be traceable there.

For centuries, Septimont has faced the relentless threat of the Dark Tide. To prepare for potential invasions, its inhabitants rigorously train themselves into a formidable fighting force, transforming the city into a bastion of warriors who do not revere any deity such as the Sentinel. One of Septimont’s most alluring aspects is the Great Agon, an epic gladiatorial competition where combatants from every corner of the world vie for supremacy. The Rover will have to participate in this tournament to uncover any clues about Cartethyia’s whereabouts.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.4 Resonators

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled about the introduction of two exceptional 5-Star Resonators coming in Version 2.4! The first one is none other than Cartethyia, who specializes as an Aero Sword wielder. She’s a formidable Main Damage Dealer, capable of amplifying her damage through Aero Erosion effects in multiple ways. What makes her even more intriguing is that her Resonance Liberation transforms her into Fleurdelys form, boosting her destructive power to new heights!

Lupa, the second five-star resonator and rising sensation in Septimont’s gladiator arena, operates as a Fusion Broadblade Resonator. With her spear, she can strike enemies even while airborne. As Lupa assaults opponents, she amasses stacks of Wolfaith. Once she has enough, she can unleash Dance With the Wolf – Climax, a skill that enables her to aid an ally whenever they invoke Resonance Liberation.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.4 Optimizations

  • In-game Guide Depot: Visit the in-game guide depot for information on how to build your Resonators and set up optimum team comps.
  • Focus Mode: When enabled, this mode will ensure that no Resonator or location will become unavailable as you progress through a quest.
  • Global Filter: Added the Global Filter feature for PC, PS5, and Mac. Select a filter that you prefer on the Global Filter page and adjust the intensity of the filter. Using the Global Filter feature allows you to adjust in-game visuals. Please note that cutscenes and UI elements will not be affected by the filter.
  • Main Quest Fast Track Event: Optimized the Next Stop: Rinascita event. After activating Jinzhou’s Resonance Nexus during Main Quest, you can go to Rinascita directly and start experiencing Version 2.0 content.

On May 22, 2024, the game titled “Wuthering Waves” was made available on Android, iOS, PC (Windows), and PlayStation 5, with the Epic Games Store as its platform. By early January 2025, over 30 million gamers had downloaded it.
