A full year after its launch, it’s not surprising at all that Kuro Games are thrilled to commemorate the triumph of their action RPG, Wuthering Waves. Instead of merely hosting in-game celebrations, they’ve decided to step into reality by organizing a global fan event during the past month.
Across Japan and China, as well as North America, an event was happening – you’ve got it right, in Los Angeles! This wasn’t just any gathering, it was a bustling celebration for Rovers, featuring a cosplay competition and a live performance of the Wuthering Waves soundtrack.
As a gamer myself, I can tell you that those lucky enough to attend the event were treated like royalty, feasting on a fantastic buffet! But fear not, my fellow gamers who couldn’t make it, for there’s a storm brewing on the horizon: Wuthering Waves version 2.4 is about to hit us! A recent livestream has spilled all the details, so mark your calendars and get ready to ride the waves!

In the upcoming Version 2.4, titled “Lightly We Toss the Crown,” promises an enticing new upgrade. Anticipate the addition of two significant recruitable resonators, Cartethyia and Lupa, as well as fresh chapters that transport you to the area known as Septimont.
In a field brimming with powerful contenders, it’s noteworthy when someone manages to take the lead. And although Kuro Games faces stiff competition from what could be considered the reigning monarch of the genre, MiHoYo, it’s clear that fans are thrilled to have Wuthering Waves as an enjoyable option to explore.
