Kuro Games’ sequel storyline is set for a prolonged run, yet leaks have surfaced about 3.0. As per these leaks, Wuthering Waves 3.0 appears to be incorporating a new area that seems to draw inspiration from the most legendary Final Fantasy ever made.
Wuthering Waves 3.0 leak reveals new Final Fantasy inspired region
A post about a leaked version of Wuthering Waves 3.0 has surfaced on the WutheringWavesLeaks subreddit. The leak was initially found on the Chinese platform Tieba, and it was translated by the user RottingLeek, who may not have captured every detail accurately. However, the leak suggests that in version 3.0, a new area will be introduced with a science fiction theme reminiscent of Midgar from Final Fantasy 7.
Based on the recent disclosure, this area goes by the name “New Fedoration” and is characterized as a technologically progressive nation that has a substantial wealth disparity. Its primary emphasis lies in technological advancements and chemical research; however, its technology innovations are considered moderately advanced.

Although it hasn’t been officially verified as a leak, it’s also hinted that “Mecha characters could potentially make an appearance due to a previous survey about preferred character types.” Additionally, in a corrected statement by the OP in the comments, the leak suggests there will be quests involving companions Verina and Calcharo.

Keep in mind that this isn’t an authentic leak, but rather a rumor. The idea of a new region with futuristic themes like Midgar from Final Fantasy 7 is exhilarating, yet if it’s true, we might still be quite far from the release of version 3.0.
