A thrilling new phase is about to start for the open-world RPG, “Wuthering Waves”, commencing on April 29. This day marks the release of its 2.3 update, aligning with the game’s first anniversary. On this very same date, “Wuthering Waves” will be available on Steam, and eager players can already add the game to their wishlist. Now, the developers have revealed which unique characters will grace the banners in the upcoming patch.
In the Version 2.3 live broadcast, it was announced that Zani would headline the first half of the update’s banner, while Ciaccona’s banner would take over in the second half. Among the two 5-Star characters, there is much excitement for Zani, as players have been eagerly awaiting her playable debut since Rinascita was released. Furthermore, Kuro Games has unveiled two special anniversary banners with five limited characters each for Version 2.3. Players can choose to increase the drop rate of their preferred 5-Star unit before attempting to summon them. Additionally, a special banner featuring the characters’ signature weapons will be available.

Game director Solon Lee emphasized that these advantages make Wuthering Waves an outstanding player-friendly gacha game.
Besides the unexpected anniversary decorations, the latest update of “Wuthering Waves,” Version 2.3, comes with a plethora of free chances to play and a Wings costume as event prizes. The game is yet to unveil more Rinascita content. In this upcoming patch of “Wuthering Waves,” you can expect Zani’s companion tale and an event centered around Ciaccona’s backstory. There are whispers that beloved characters Phrolova and Cartethyia might be playable during the 2.0 game cycle.
