It seems old habits die hard: Stassi Schroeder and Scheana Shay are back to clashing on television. While a storyline involving Dakota Mortensen was cut from the recent crossover episode of Vanderpump Villa/Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the show delivered a Vanderpump Rules crossover instead. A central conflict revolved around Jessi Draper’s ex, Jordan Ngatikaura, meeting Marcio Brunette, the man Jessi had an emotional (and possibly physical) affair with. Stassi, acting as the judge, was trying to uncover the truth when she discovered Scheana was stirring up trouble behind the scenes. She questioned Brunette about inconsistencies in his story, specifically regarding whether he had sex with Jessi. Brunette admitted he felt pressured by Demi Engemann from SLOMW and Scheana to exaggerate the affair. He explained that it all started with Demi and Scheana, who initiated a three-way phone call to discuss it.
Stassi Schroeder feels Scheana is responsible for a lot of drama. She believes that no matter what, problems always seem to circle back to Scheana. Much of the original Vanderpump Rules storyline revolved around Stassi’s issues with her ex, Shay, and the cast’s infidelity. Fans enjoyed seeing Stassi return to form, openly criticizing Shay in her interviews. She expressed her frustration to the cameras, wondering how Scheana kept ending up involved. Stassi feels that even after leaving a show like Vanderpump Rules, it’s impossible to completely escape past co-stars, as Scheana always seems to reappear.
“She’s gonna love this,” Schroeder said. “Hi, Scheana!”
That wasn’t the only negative comment Scheshu made during season 3 of Vanderpump Villa. Stassi Schroeder and Lisa Vanderpump talked about Shay’s book over dinner, focusing on his claims that Lisa Vanderpump used manipulation and “gaslighting” to create her reality TV success. When Lisa asked Stassi who she wanted to criticize, Stassi immediately said “Scheana.” Stassi explained to Lisa that her feelings were hurt more by Scheana because Lisa had always seemed to favor her.
