They lay the groundwork for our main Damage Per Second (DPS) units to unleash an awe-inspiring barrage of damage. However, they need to be well-equipped with powerful buffs, either dealing damage themselves or providing some much-needed resilience to keep us in the fight.

This Support rankings in “Wuthering Waves” are designed to assist players in identifying strong Supports from those that could potentially hinder their teams’ performance. However, it’s essential to understand that the concept of a ‘Support’ character can vary among players. For example, a hybrid Sub-DPS and buffer like Sanhua might be classified as a Support by some players but not by others. In this article, we will primarily concentrate on characters who excel in buffing, healing, and coordinated attacks.

11. Taoqi

C-Tier

In the game Wuthering Waves, Taoqi often spends a considerable amount of time on the field. It’s unfortunate for Yuanwu that none of the current characters seem to gain an advantage from his skillset, as no one has yet specialized in Defense percentage scaling. Moreover, when it comes to synchronized attacks, there are significantly better options available. Consequently, Yuanwu is often overlooked and seldom appears in top Support rankings within Wuthering Waves.

9. Yangyang

B-Tier

One notable trait of Yangyang is that she quickly exits a battlefield after just a few moments of entering it. Her Outro Skill drains the energy of subsequent characters, giving them an opportunity to use their Resonance Liberation more frequently. Furthermore, her acceptable crowd control abilities enable her to gather enemies, thereby boosting the effectiveness of the next character’s area-of-effect attacks.

Additionally, she boosts her team’s Attack by 20%, but this doesn’t quite measure up to position Yangyang at the same level as other Support characters within the game ‘Wuthering Waves’.

8. Jianxin

B-Tier

Jianxin possesses a versatile toolkit for the game “Wuthering Waves.” She’s an effective guardian with minor healing capabilities. If her setup allows it, she can dish out reasonable damage. Despite having both buffing and healing abilities, Youhu falls short when compared to other healers within “Wuthering Waves”. In terms of being a 4-star Support character, she typically holds a moderate position in many rankings.
