She can function effectively as a hyper carry if she is the sole Erudition character in the team, or serve as a secondary DPS when paired with others. As an alternative, the Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters is also a strong pick, as the weakness implants Anaxa applies function as debuffs, allowing him to deal extra damage. In essence, players should focus on farming whichever set provides the most beneficial sub-stats for Anaxa, as these will have a greater impact on his overall performance. Notably, when it comes to the alternatives, players will find minimal differences in terms of set bonus effects, making optimized sub-stats the crucial factor to consider.

When it comes to choosing the top Planar Ornament options for Anaxa, players might find that the ideal choice often depends on the type of content rather than his role within the team. In most cases, Rutilant Arena stands out as his best pick, whether Anaxa is built as a hypercarry or sub-DPS. This is because Rutilant Arena provides Critical Hit Rate and Skill Damage bonuses that complement his abilities particularly well.

In other words, for configurations involving Sub-DPS roles, specifically dual DPS or two Erudition teams, the combo of Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm is a powerful pick due to its Crit Rate enhancement, allowing players to focus on Critical Damage in their relic sub-stats for greater overall damage potential. For hypercarry setups, Glamoth from Firmament Frontline stands out as it significantly raises ATK, which harmonizes superbly with Anaxa’s penchant for SPD boots to engage in more battles. Last but not least, Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation is a worthy choice for Pure Fiction content as it provides extra Critical Damage boosts that Anaxa can consistently stack by efficiently defeating enemies.

He excels in both hypercarry and sub-DPS roles, favoring either a high Critical Hit Rate or Critical Damage body, with higher effectiveness of the former in hypercarry setups due to his ascension bonus that increases Critical Damage by 140%. Boots enhancing Speed are beneficial for both roles, ensuring continuous turns to optimize damage and apply weaknesses.

For the best results, consider equipping him with Wind Damage percentage or Attack percentage artifacts. An Attack percentage Link Rope will complement his low natural ATK generation. When players use his signature light cone, combined with his ascension bonuses, he doesn’t require Energy Regeneration Rate for the Link Rope.

In terms of sub-stats, prioritize Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage, Attack, and Speed.

Best Anaxa Light Cones In Honkai: Star Rail

As a dedicated gamer wielding Anaxa, my go-to Light Cone choices can shift based on whether I’m playing him as a hypercarry or a sub-DPS. Yet, there are three standout favorites that remain constant in both scenarios. My signature Light Cone, “Life Should Be Cast to Flames,” takes the crown as my absolute favorite. It rejuvenates my energy, amps up the damage I deal against enemies with Anaxa’s embedded weaknesses, and weakens their defense. However, this Light Cone’s effectiveness is primarily geared towards Anaxa himself, as most other Erudition characters don’t implant weaknesses or leverage its unique mechanics. This makes it an invaluable asset for those aiming to play Anaxa as a hypercarry. Furthermore, the defense reduction benefits all my teammates, securing its status as my best-in-slot (BiS) regardless of my role.

For Anaxa, the optimal alternative in terms of weaponry would be “The Great Cosmic Enterprise”. This weapon offers Critical Rate, a solid base Attack, and amplifies both Ultimate and Skill Damage. Given that Anaxa primarily emphasizes Skill Damage, this synergy works well for her. However, if players plan to team Anaxa with The Herta, it would be more advantageous to equip The Great Cosmic Enterprise on The Herta instead. In such a case, Anaxa could opt for another weapon as an alternative. Notably, the 4-star Light Cone “The Great Cosmic Enterprise” is highly suggested, especially since it can be acquired during the HSR Second Anniversary Event when fully superimposed. This weapon is particularly suited to Anaxa, as it provides Attack percentage increases and additional damage bonuses contingent on the number of enemy weaknesses.

On days when I can’t get my hands on the usual hypercarry setup, Today is Another Peaceful Day steps up as a reliable substitute. Although it’s a Battle Pass Light Cone and doesn’t exactly cater to free-to-play gamers, it outperforms numerous 5-star options in high superimposition situations due to its generalist effects. For roles that aren’t primarily for DPS in The Herta team compositions, I can opt between Eternal Calculus and Night on the Milky Way. I’d pick Eternal Calculus when there are fewer than five enemies, while Night on the Milky Way shines when I’m up against five or more targets. Both Light Cones boost ATK and offer comparable damage benefits, so either one can work depending on the battle situation at hand.
