In just a short while after its debut, it’s clear that AI Limit’s interpretation of Soulslike combat has resonated strongly with fans of the genre. The game’s anime-inspired aesthetics lend it an intriguing look, and its innovative approach to combat, such as the Sync Gauge, sets it apart. In this game, players guide Blader Arissa, a character on a quest to recover her memories and revive the world.
In the game “AI Limit,” there are numerous elements reminiscent of Soulslike games, serving similar roles as their counterparts in other Action Role-Playing Games (ARPGs). One such item is called Seals. These equipable items that enhance stats resemble medallions found in “Elden Ring.” Players can outfit one primary seal, rarer and stronger seals, along with up to five standard seals.
In the game of AI Limit, most major seals are acquired at certain stages or from non-player characters (NPCs). However, common seals are scattered throughout the world as items and can sometimes be overlooked. To assist new players in their initial gameplay, here’s a list of the top early-game seals in AI Limit.
9. Tide Of Life
HP Up

- Effects: Increase LP by 10%
- Location: Sunken City Underground – Underground Parish Branch to Parish Avenue
Increasing maximum life is generally beneficial, but the basic seal for that purpose only adds a negligible 5%. Yet, you can find an ordinary seal with a 10% increase to max LP nearby on Parish Avenue, near a statue. This extra enhancement makes the Seal of Tide of Life a worthwhile acquisition.
8. Stability
Lower Synce Gauge Drain

- Effects: Stability +100
- Location: Sewer Town – North Branch to Sedimentation Tank
Boosting stability lessens the rate at which players lose Sync Gauge upon being hit, a crucial factor for keeping high damage output during combat in AI Limit. A powerful seal that enhances stability can be discovered by the Railgun Sewer Cleaner in the Sedimentation Tank within the Sewer Town.
7. Stone Builder
Higher Sync Gauge Gain

- Effects: Conversion +15
- Location: Outer Wall Ruins – Ancient Machineworks Branch (defeat Panic Reaper)
Speeding up the process of accumulating Sync Gauge when attacking is beneficial as it helps sustain DPS (Damage Per Second) and keeps potent attack abilities at hand. The stat controlling this gauge build-up rate is Conversion, and this Seal offers a reasonable enhancement. However, players must overcome the Panic Reaper miniboss in the Ancient Machineworks to acquire it.
6. Jade Form
Defense Boost

- Effects: All defenses +30
- Location: Sunken City Overground – Flooded Street Branch to Aetherium Mansion
The Jade Form Seal increases all physical and elemental defenses by about 30%, providing a modest overall defensive enhancement that complements the player’s existing armor. This seal can be acquired effortlessly at the onset of the game by engaging with the memory located within the Aetherium Mansion, before confronting the main boss in the area.
5. Deadwood Form
Resistance Boost

- Effects: All resistance +30
- Location: Twilight Hill – Withered Forest Branch to Deadwoods
As players progress through the mid-stage of “AI Limit,” resistance to status effects becomes increasingly important, making it wise to acquire this Seal while exploring the Withered Forest. While a +30 boost to all status resistance isn’t the strongest buff available, it can prove useful and is worth the effort to obtain during the early stages of the game.
4. Conversion
Sync Rate Energy Level

- Effects: Upgrades Main Seal’s Sync Rate energy level from 1 to 2
- Location: Sunken City Underground – Underground Parish Branch to Mural Terrace
Obtaining and utilizing the Sync Seal can significantly enhance gameplay for players accustomed to handling their Synchronization Gauge. This Sync Seal boosts the main character’s Sync Rate energy level, granting better perks when the gauge is high. Multiple levels of these Sync Seals are available, but the initial one can be claimed by engaging with the memory at Mural Terrace.
3. Scattered Stars
Improved Counter

- Effects: Counter Field no longer costs Sync Gauge
- Location: Sunken City Underground – Underground Parish Branch to Living Pond
As a fan who cherishes mastering the art of parries using the counter-field, the Scattered Stars Seal is indispensable for me. This seal allows me to utilize the counter field without draining my Sync Gauge, making it possible for me to employ this potent defensive maneuver at will. The Living Pond might be a bit elusive, hidden in a few drops located in the upper region near Underground Parish, but I managed to secure the Seal by interacting with the memory within that location.
2. Seal Of Pilgrim
Early Main Seal

- Effect 1: Stability +70
- Effect 2: 15% less damage taken from poison, piercing, and infection
- Effect 3: All defense +50 when affected by a status ailment
- Location: Outer Wall Ruins – Slums Branch to Temporary Campsite (speak to Shirley)
In the early stages of AI Limit, the variety of Main Seals isn’t vast. These potent seals come with multiple effects and significantly influence your Sync Gauge status. One of the first alternatives for non-default Main Seal you’ll encounter is Seal of Pilgrim, which you acquire by talking to Shirley at the Temporary Campsite. Compared to other early Main Seals, this choice provides a bit more durability.
1. Standard Seal Of Bladers
Stability And Conversion Booster

- Effect 1: Stability +30%
- Effect 2: Conversion +24% when Sync Gauge is above 70%
- Effect 3: Stability +40% when Sync Gauge is above 70%
- Location: Sunken City Overground – Rooftop Street Branch to Lounge (speak to Feylia)
As a devoted player, one seal I can’t help but appreciate early on in my gaming journey is the Standard Seal of Bladers. This badge is among the initial Main Seal choices you’ll come across, and it’s an excellent tool for keeping that Sync Gauge consistently high. All you need to do is seek out Feylia, who can be found in Suken City Overground near the Lounge, and have a chat with her.
This particular Main Seal leans more towards attack-oriented gameplay compared to the Seal of Pilgrim. If you’re someone who enjoys a bold, aggressive approach to the game, then this Main Seal might just be tailored to your style. In my opinion, it could very well be the most effective Main Seal option in the game’s early stages.
