In the same vein as other gacha games, characters in Wuthering Waves each possess unique attributes and weapons, shaping their roles within the game. Yet, the creators are also emphasizing on a diverse array of characters with status-based negatives, providing an alternate playstyle by consistently inflicting damage onto enemies.
Ciaccona is a character who primarily uses her abilities, Aero Erosion and Spectro Frazzle, against enemies. She’s straightforward to grasp, but tricky to develop due to her high stat demands.
Best Ciaccona Weapons
Since the debut of Wuthering Waves, it seems like Pistols have been somewhat overlooked when it comes to new character introductions, limiting our choices significantly. Yet, when it comes to constructing Ciaccona, nothing beats her signature weapon, Woodland Aria, in my opinion. Fortunately, there are a few budget-friendly options available too, although they may not match up to the top-tier five-star weapons.
Name | Rarity | Synergy With Ciaccona |
---|---|---|
![]() Woodland Aria | Five-Star |
This is Ciaccona’s signature weapon, and it does a lot for her apart from the Crit Rate from the secondary stat. It gives her extra ATK while also providing some Aero DMG Bonus when you apply an Aero Erosion stack on the enemy. Finally, this weapon also reduces the enemy’s Aero RES for 20 seconds when you hit an enemy with Aero Erosion. |
![]() Static Mist | Five-Star |
If you don’t have Ciaccona’s signature, this standard weapon also goes well with her because of the Crit Rate on the secondary stat and the Energy Regen from the passive. She can also enhance her supportive abilities by providing the next resonator some ATK when you use Outro Skill to switch to them. |
![]() Romance in Farewell | Four-Star | You can easily craft this weapon after buying its blueprint from the bank in Rinascita, and it gives her a ton of ATK when you hit enemies with Aero Erosion. |
![]() Cadenza | Four-Star | If you’re having trouble getting enough Concerto or Resonance Energy on Ciaccona for her rotations, you can use this weapon to increase both her Energy Regen and giving her some extra Concert Energy. |
![]() Relativistic Jet | Four-Star | Finally, if you’ve managed to pull this weapon, it can be a decent one for her since it gives her some Resonance Energy and ATK for 16 seconds after casting her Skill. |
Ciaccona Echo Guide

The Wuthering Waves ecosystem is crucial to its operation, as it’s where you primarily gather your stats and a unique skill that your main slot echo can employ. For Ciaccona’s build, the ideal echo combination is Gusts of Welkin paired with Reminiscence: Fleurdelys as the primary echo. However, Moonlit Clouds offers a reasonable substitute for early-game players.
Best Ciaccona Echo Sets
![]() Gusts of Welkin | Apart from giving you some Aero DMG Bonus, this set lets you increase the Aero DMG for the entire party by 15 percent when you apply Aero Erosion on the enemy, with an additional 15 percent for Ciaccona. |
---|---|
![]() Moonlit Clouds | Moonlit Clouds can serve as decent alternative if you don’t have Ciaccona’s signature since it lets you build her as a support with some extra Energy Regen and additional ATK for the resonator you switch to with your Outro. |
Best Ciaccona Main Echoes
Echo Name | Set | Synergy With Ciaccona |
---|---|---|
![]() Reminiscence: Fleurdelys | Gusts of Welkin | While you can’t fully utilize the buffs from this echo, it still serves as the best one for Ciaccona’s main slot since it gives her an additional 10 percent Aero DMG bonus. |
![]() Impermanence Heron | Moonlit Clouds | On the Moonlit Clouds set, you can Impermanence Heron to increase the ATK boost that the resonator you switch to gets. Keep in mind that you have to hit the enemy with this echo for the effect to occur. |
Echo Stat Priority For Ciaccona
Cost 4 | Crit Rate > Crit DMG |
---|---|
Cost 3 | Energy Regen, Aero DMG Bonus |
Cost 1 | ATK Percent |
In simpler terms, when constructing Ciaccona, consider adopting the typical 4-3-3-1-1 setup for reflections, particularly if you don’t possess one of the two top-tier weapons mentioned earlier in her possession. Additionally, if your sub-stats provide a decent amount of Energy Regeneration, it might be beneficial to equip three cost echoes with double Air Damage Bonus pieces for enhanced effectiveness.
As a devoted fan, I’d typically prioritize the following attributes when equipping her: Critical Rate/Damage, Energy Regeneration, Heavy Attack Damage, Resonance Liberation Damage, and Attack Percentage as substats on her gear. Aim for approximately 150% Energy Regeneration along with a good Critical Ratio to maximize her worth, since she doesn’t heal, she needs to inflict substantial damage instead.
Best Ciaccona Team Compositions

Ciaccona Aero Team | Jiyan, Aero Rover/Mortefi, Ciaccona |
---|---|
Ciaccona Spectro Team | Zani, Ciaccona, Shorekeeper/Phoebe |
Depending on whether you need a healer or not in your team composition, the positioning of Ciaccona as a sub-DPS (due to her ability to provide team-wide buffs with her Outro Skill) can be quite adaptable.
- If you don’t need a healer in the Jiyan team, having Mortefi and Ciaccona with him will give you a lot more value since they can provide extra buffs for Jiyan overall.
- As for the Zani team, you can create a lot more Spectro Frazzle stacks if you run them without a sustain. However, Shorekeeper generally fits better in that team than Ciaccona since she can provide better universal buffs for Zani.
Cartethyia, another character from the universe of Aero, is expected to function harmoniously with Ciaccona as well, although specific details about her abilities are still unknown.
As a gamer on Ciaccona’s team, I typically kick things off with her more often than not due to her Liberation ability having a prolonged duration. Plus, she offers beneficial party-wide buffs as previously stated. However, if Shorekeeper is in my lineup, I’d suggest starting with him instead since his Intro Skill speeds up our team rotations.
In a team with Spectro Frazzle, if you’re using Ciaccona, remember to change her Liberation to yellow, as she won’t generate Spectro Frazzle stacks unless it’s yellow.
Ciaccona Overview And Trace Priority

Whenever a fresh character debuts in Wuthering Waves, you can seamlessly incorporate them into both Tower of Adversity and Whimpering Wastes as the buffs are often designed specifically for them. Notably, Ciaccona stands out as a versatile character, proving effective with any future Aero unit, particularly those who possess elements of Aero Erosion in their abilities.
Here’s how her kit works:
Ciaccona’s Kit, Explained
One key feature of Ciaccona’s equipment lies in her unique ability to conjure multiple replicas of herself using diverse methods. These replicas possess different skills that they carry out on her behalf, and they even collaborate in a performance during her Liberation.
- You can summon a clone when you interrupt her fourth basic attack or Solo Concert, which happens right after the fourth basic attack. This interruption can happen by either dashing, using your Resonance Skill, or getting attacked by the enemy.
- There can be up to two clones on the battlefield at a time. If a clone is summoned during the fourth basic attack, it completes that attack and enters the Solo Concert mode. On the other hand, if the clone is summoned during the Solo Concert mode, it stays in it.
- Whenever you or your clone are in Solo Concert mode, Ciaccona can provide Aero DMG Bonus to the entire party.
- Upon activating her Liberation, both her clones join her in a Recital, which produces waves of damage every couple of seconds. These waves can either apply Aero Erosion or Spectro Frazzle depending on the color you’re on. It’s always on green color by default.
- She can also get Musical Essence with her Intro Skill and fourth basic attack. Upon getting three of these, you can use a special Heavy Attack that groups up the enemies.
- Apart from the regular Aero Erosion stacks from her Liberation, Ciaccona can also apply them with her Resonance Skill, special Heavy Attack, and Intro Skill.
Ciaccona Attack Combination
In the fight, it’s typically Ciaccona who initiates the battle for your team. Consequently, the opening attack sequence might vary slightly from subsequent rotations. Usually, you should begin Ciaccona’s turn by using the Intro Skill. This ability grants her a Musical Essence stack while placing her in a Basic Attack 3 stance immediately.
After that, employ two fundamental attacks followed by utilizing your ability to summon your first clone. Subsequently, you may execute three basic attacks to conjure the second clone, which will also grant you all three Musical Essences, enabling you to perform a unique Heavy Attack. Lastly, utilize your Resonance Liberation and transition to the next character.
To kick off, perform two complete basic attack sequences as a substitute for not having an Intro Skill, and then proceed with your Resonance Skill afterwards.
To summarize, here’s what you need to do for Ciaccona’s rotation:
With Intro Skill | Intro Skill > Basic Attack > Basic Attack > Resonance Skill > Basic Attack > Basic Attack > Basic Attack > Heavy Attack > Resonance Liberation |
---|---|
Without Intro Skill | Basic Attack x4 > Dash > Basic Attack x4 > Resonance Skill > Basic Attack x3 > Heavy Attack > Resonance Liberation |
Ciaccona Trace Priority
When enhancing Ciaccona, similar to other characters, it’s crucial to prioritize upgrading her Forte Circuit initially. This is because her special Heavy Attack significantly boosts her damage output. Once the Forte Circuit is upgraded, you can then focus on improving her abilities in this sequence: Resonance Liberation > Intro Skill > Resonance Skill > Basic Attack.
