The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales details the Age of Magic, weapons enhancements, and Faie’s Magic Lessons

I’m so excited! Square Enix just dropped a bunch of new screenshots and details about The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales! They’re really diving into the Age of Magic, and it sounds like they’re adding some cool ways to upgrade your weapons and Magicite. Plus, there’s something called Faie’s Magic Lessons, which sounds awesome! Can’t wait to learn more!

Age of Magic

Before the time of Reconstruction, there was the Age of Magic – a golden age for humanity. Incredible advancements in magical technology led to great wealth and even pushed back the wild beast tribes. However, this prosperity wouldn’t last, and the future held only ruin. Something within this seemingly perfect age was clearly going wrong.

Weyzn

Okay, so I just arrived in Weyzn, and it’s totally different from the rest of Philabieldia. Everywhere you look there are these amazing, beautiful buildings – it’s kinda jarring considering how much of the rest of the land is overrun with beastmen. Apparently, this whole nation runs on magic, and they’re super into researching it. There are two main places doing the research: Forthewor, which is all about pushing the boundaries of magical tech no matter what, and Formanit, which focuses on using magic to actually improve people’s lives. Honestly, magic is everything here; it feels like everyone depends on it, and they’re constantly trying to learn more.

Originally from Fort Worth, this highly knowledgeable researcher left her previous position to found and lead the Formanit Institute. Her dedicated and thorough work has built strong trust with her team.

Marnie

Voiced by: Sayumi Suzushiro / Suzie Yeung

Marnie is a researcher at the Formanit Institute specializing in magic technology and mechanical engineering. She studies magical creatures called thaumata through practical, real-world testing. Admiring Director Fausta, she’s fully committed to the institute’s goal of using magical research to improve people’s lives.

Hildebrandt

Voiced by: Show Hayami / Christopher Smith

So, I’ve heard about the Director of the Forthewor Institute. Basically, he’s a no-nonsense guy who gets things done. Apparently, he’s a super talented researcher, which is why he became director so young. Everyone in Weyzn seems to think he’s amazing because of all the cool new magical stuff he’s figured out. He’s a big deal around here!

Ikarus

Voiced by: Yuuya Uchida / Chris Okawa

Lord Valerius is a dignified and dedicated leader of Weyzn, fully committed to his duties. He worries about Forthewor’s hasty advancements and often seeks guidance from Fausta, with whom he’s built a strong working relationship.

System

Weapon Enhancements

Elliot has access to seven different weapons as he explores. Each weapon type has stronger versions available, offering increased damage and more powerful special abilities. Discover these weapons hidden in caves and ancient ruins to gain an advantage on his journey.

Magicite Enhancements

Magicite enhances weapons with different abilities, and comes in varying levels of rarity. Even if two magicite have the same effect, the rarer one will be more powerful. The more magicite you create, the better your chances of getting a rare one, so it’s best to start crafting them early and consistently.

Adventuring Diversion: Faie’s Magic Lessons

Discovering new fairy magic for Faie opens up fun minigames – Faie’s magic lessons! You can earn points within each lesson by using the magic ability you just learned. The higher your score, the better the reward – you’ll unlock in-game music tracks to listen to!
