Get ready to see Cassian Andor return! To mark the tenth anniversary of Rogue One, a new story is coming that focuses on his early days as a smuggler.

The first issue of the Star Wars: Rogue One – Cassian Andor comic book arrives on May 6, 2026. Marvel Comics describes it as a story that explores Cassian Andor’s past, showing him on a dangerous solo mission. According to Marvel, the story follows Andor as he goes undercover in the criminal world of Kafrene, trying to outrun both Imperial troopers and bounty hunters in a high-stakes spy adventure. Benjamin Percy writes the story, with art by Luke Ross.

Andor Gets Lost in Kafrene in New Prequel Story

I just got a sneak peek at the new Rogue One story, and it’s so cool! It shows Cassian Andor wandering around the city of Kafrene, and it really sets the stage for who he is. Apparently, he was known as someone super stubborn and willing to use force to get what he needed, which meant he caused problems for both sides of the war – the Empire and the Rebellion! It’s a great look into his character.
