Shiba Inu is partnering with the Content Distribution and Security Association (CDSA) to propose and develop blockchain technology for media and entertainment, with a focus on security and content distribution. The collaboration aims to use blockchain technology to address concerns in the AI sector, such as deepfakes and plagiarism.

Shib, a network of digital assets and services linked on Ethereum blockchain, announced a partnership with CDSA (Content Distribution and Security Association) as per a statement to CoinDesk.

Shiba Inu‘s team plans to create a unique blockchain solution tailored for media and entertainment industries. This includes enhancing security and streamlining content distribution. CDSA, established in 1998, is a global non-profit organization dedicated to offering guidelines for effective delivery and preservation of entertainment, software, and IT solutions.

“Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, is excited to bring a distinctive and pioneering approach to CDSA using blockchain technology. This becomes even more relevant as blockchain and artificial intelligence merge.”

In the emerging field of artificial intelligence (AI), concerns about deepfakes and plagiarism can be lessened through the use of blockchains, according to Shiba Inu developers in their statement. The issue arises because most AI models are educated using publicly accessible content, which worries researchers.

Shib tokens have gained a modest 0.69% in value over the last 24 hours, but lagged behind the stronger 1.7% increase of the CoinDesk 20 index.
