As an experienced financial analyst, I’m thrilled to see Ripple’s continued recognition in the fintech industry. The company’s latest achievement of being named one of the top 250 fintech companies for 2024 in the “digital assets” category by CNBC and Statista is a testament to its significant contributions in making cryptocurrencies and blockchain applications more accessible and easier to use. This recognition comes at a time when the digital asset industry has experienced remarkable growth, with Bitcoin hitting an all-time high price of over $70,000 in March 2024.

TL;DR

  • Ripple was named one of the top 250 fintech companies for 2024 in the “digital assets” category by CNBC and Statista.
  • The company has received multiple awards, including the PAY360 Award and recognition as a top workplace by Fortune Magazine.

Ripple’s Latest Recognition

In collaboration, CNBC, an American business news channel, and Statista, a global industry statistics database, carried out a joint investigation to identify the top 250 fintech companies for the year 2024. Ripple, which was among the honorees in the “digital assets” category, is one of the three entities that made it to this prestigious list last year. Coinbase and OpenSea were the other two companies recognized.

CNBC and Statista identified companies falling under the “digital assets” sector, which facilitate the usage and accessibility of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. They highlighted the industry’s significant achievement in 2021 when Bitcoin (BTC) reached a record-breaking price above $70,000 in March.

The entities revealed that 116 of the top 250 fintech companies are located in the United States (including Ripple, which is headquartered in San Francisco). The United Kingdom follows next with 30 firms, while India is home to 11 entities on the list.

The Previous Awards

Ripple hasn’t made its first appearance in this category. In fact, last October, it was recognized as a leading player in the digital currency/asset sector within financial services, winning the payment award at the PAY360 Awards in the UK.

Sendi Young, the European Operations Manager at Ripple, was among those recognizing the accomplishment. “It’s a great privilege to receive this recognition in the esteemed UK payments awards,” she expressed.

Before being part of that esteemed list, Fortune Magazine ranked Ripple as the 13th best workplace in technology for 2023. According to their assessment, 94% of the company’s employees considered it an excellent place to work. Moreover, 98% of new hires reported feeling warmly welcomed when they began their employment journey, and a remarkable 96% expressed support for our management team.

People Magazine ranked Ripple among the top 100 companies for prioritizing employee and social welfare. Joining Ripple on this esteemed list were corporations such as American Express, NVIDIA, Deloitte, and MasterCard, to name a few.
