Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves revealed during Pokemon Presents

The Pokemon Company has revealed the next generation of Pokemon games: Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves.

During the February 27th Pokemon Presents showcase, The Pokemon Company revealed the next generation of games: Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves. This is the first completely new generation since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were released in 2022. Though details are limited so far, fans got a first look at the new region and some brand-new Pokemon, including the starter Pokemon.

The new trailer gave us a quick look at the worlds of Pokemon Wind and Pokemon Waves, showing off lush, tropical settings and expansive outdoor areas.

Like past games in the series, players can look forward to discovering new Pokémon, experiencing a brand new story, and enjoying updated gameplay features that build on what they already love.

I’m so excited! The games are coming out in 2027 for the new Switch 2, and it looks like we’ll get more details as the release date gets nearer. I can’t wait!

Generation 10 is a significant new chapter for this incredibly popular franchise, which started in 1996 and has grown into a global entertainment phenomenon.

With each new generation of Pokemon games, over 100 new creatures are added, along with updates to competitive battling, regional variations of existing Pokemon, and fresh battle features that significantly change the game’s strategy.
