Paris Saint-Germain Reveals First Apparel Collection Featuring ‘Evangelion’

Summary

  • PSG and Evangelion collaborate on a new apparel collection
  • The line features T-shirts, jerseys and windbreakers in colors inspired by various EVA-Units
  • Releasing on May 26 across PSG EDIFICE stores and BAYCREW’S in Japan

As a gamer, I can’t help but feel excited about the unexpected team-up between Paris Saint-Germain and Hideaki Anno’s iconic anime series, Evangelion! For the first time ever, these two powerhouses are joining forces, blending the grim atmosphere of Evangelion with PSG’s sleek sportswear design. They’ve cleverly tied it all together using “Paris” as a common thread. This collaboration is bound to create something truly unique and captivating!

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but be thrilled by the latest addition to our collection – an exquisite illustration featuring Rei, Asuka, and Mari posing in front of PSG’s iconic home stadium, Parc des Princes. This artwork perfectly embodies the philosophy that encourages us to savor each moment, living fully in the present. Reflecting this ethos, the new clothing range is filled with essential wardrobe staples and designs that flatter every silhouette.

Items such as t-shirts, jerseys, windbreakers, flowy bottoms, and accessories are enhanced with graphics and colors that pay homage to the legendary anime. Notable items include the windbreaker and sweatpants set inspired by Eva-Unit-01 and Eva-Unit-02, as well as the “BLOODTYPE PATTERN (BLUE)” T-shirt, which is a nod to Rei Ayanami’s distinctive physiological readings when she pilots an Eva-Unit. Other highlights include this design.

The
Evangelion

collaborative capsule will be available across PSG EDIFICE and
BAYCREW’S
stores in Japan starting May 26. The collection will also be available to shop online at a later date. Check out some of the highlighted styles in the gallery above.
