Recently, Zac Efron and Nina Dobrev were shown to be spending a lot of vacation time together. According to US Magazine, photos surfaced of the A-listers attending Brad Garlinghouse’s wedding in September. Then last week, Deuxmoi shared photos of the two being all smiles with each other on a yacht. On September 18, the Daily Mail published pics of the two stars swimming off the Italian coastline.

Laila Lockhart Kraner is back as Gabby in the new family movie, a fun mix of animation and real-life scenes. She and her grandma, played by Gloria Estefan, go on a road trip to Cat Francisco. But when Gabby’s dollhouse falls into the hands of a quirky cat lover (Kristen Wiig), Gabby starts an adventure to rescue her Gabby Cats. Owen Gleiberman from Variety says you don’t need to be familiar with the show (which you can watch on Netflix) to enjoy this colorful and charming movie.

The new documentary, *In Whose Name?*, released on September 19th, offers a surprisingly intimate look at the complex life of the famous hip-hop artist Ye. Compiled from over 3,000 hours of footage filmed between 2016 and 2024, the film follows Ye’s journey with unprecedented access. Director Nico Ballesteros, then an 18-year-old art student and fashion enthusiast, unexpectedly found himself becoming Ye’s primary documentarian after another videographer left the project. For years, Ballesteros dedicated almost his entire life to the film, traveling the world by private jet and gaining a front-row seat to meetings with prominent figures like Drake, Anna Wintour, Lady Gaga, Elon Musk, LeBron James, and many others – all while often surviving on minimal sleep. The result is a deeply immersive portrait of a groundbreaking, yet often controversial, artist.

Movies and fashion are currently intersecting in a big way. According to *The Hollywood Reporter*, Gucci supported Chris Evans and Anya Taylor-Joy’s *Sacrifice* at the Toronto International Film Festival, and Yves Saint Laurent’s film division produced last year’s Oscar-nominated *Emilia Pérez* and this year’s *Father Mother Sister Brother*, which won the Golden Lion at Venice. The new film, *The Tiger*, leans into this connection by creating a storyline where Moore plays Barbara Gucci, the head of a parallel-universe Gucci and the governor of California. She hosts a dinner for her children with a *Vanity Fair* journalist (Harris) hoping to make a good impression, but the evening goes awry when everyone accidentally gets high. While it’s not a spiritual experience, this short film packs a lot into its half-hour runtime.
