The God Valley Incident was a pivotal event that marked the end of the Rocks Pirates’ reign. Flashbacks involving Kuma and Loki have shown that many more figures were connected to the incident than previously believed, linking characters ranging from the World Government to Monkey D. Dragon.
Chapter 1160 sees the arrival of the Rocks Pirates at God Valley. Shortly after, the Roger Pirates appear, aiming to rescue Shakky, and Garp arrives with his fleet. Meanwhile, Dragon saves Shanks and Shamrock while the Celestial Dragons continue their pursuit of the local people and slaves.
