Minority Mindset

As a huge Granblue Fantasy fan, I’ve been following the Endless Ragnarok updates closely! MousLS recently shared what we know so far, including the awesome new characters Beatrix and Gallanza, and teased what might be coming next. Honestly, everyone’s really hoping to see some more Light and Dark characters join the fight. We’ve already spotted five potential Light characters, so the community is buzzing, trying to figure out who’s next! Rolan is a popular pick for Light, and a lot of us are hoping for Lilith or Beelzebub to represent the Dark side. It’s so cool seeing everyone get excited about characters they love or are curious about, and the subreddit is overflowing with suggestions – the hype is real!

This update to Blackwood’s inventory focuses on exciting new weapons. The Stormtongue Lightning Culverin is a powerful ship-mounted weapon with a unique combination of electric and fire effects, designed to inflict serious damage. The Cloudbinder Lightning Ballista is also turning heads, as it can attach charged bolts to enemies, causing a chain reaction. One player enthusiastically said they’re eager to use these weapons to dominate naval battles. These additions are expected to bring fresh strategic options for both new and experienced players.

Beating the Kraken isn’t about how good individual players are – it really requires teamwork. Some players, like Lesser-of-two-Weevil, have found it nearly impossible to win when there aren’t enough people playing. It’s a frustrating cycle: few people join because the Kraken is so hard, and it’s hard because there aren’t enough players. Currently, the Kraken seems to require at least three players to have a chance, and the game’s difficulty scaling makes it feel punishing instead of rewarding players who keep trying.

Players weren’t thrilled with the announcement of another maintenance update. One user, Dorek_DWO, summed up the general feeling with a sarcastic, “Let’s investigate for a few more weeks.” This highlights a growing frustration within the community – players feel like the developers are still finding problems instead of fixing them, and the constant issues are making the game unenjoyable. They’re tired of dealing with so many bugs while trying to play.

Let’s give a big shout-out to Captain Inferno for their fantastic emblem, “Deadly Growth”! It perfectly captures the spirit of piracy with its classic skull and crossed swords. What makes this design special is the unique touch of a Chinese straight sword replacing one of the traditional rapiers. Captain Inferno explains this represents their personal heritage and acknowledges the diverse history of pirates in the Indian Ocean. By blending cultural identity with the game’s style, the artist has created a richer, more meaningful design that players from all backgrounds can appreciate. It’s a wonderfully flavorful combination of the familiar and the exotic – a truly delicious design!

Okay, so the Spearhead update is HUGE. It’s not just a few little tweaks – they’ve completely revamped a lot of the game to make it better. I saw that user “werytrololo” said there are over 250 new things to do – quests, contracts, that kind of stuff – and a ton of new places to explore, which is awesome. Honestly, I’m really impressed with how the devs have been listening to us players. Someone like bmemike pointed out they’ve really worked hard on making the game fun to play and keeping you hooked. It’s cool to see them actually use our feedback to change things up and make the gameplay better!
