The representatives are intentionally difficult during their meeting, but Jimmy and Kayla refuse to give up and decide to approach Bruno directly with an offer.

Widow’s Bay shares a similar feel to Parks and Recreation, with its focus on eccentric characters and a small town setting. Like that show, it centers around a local government employee determined to improve things, despite the challenges. It has a definite sitcom vibe, but the spooky elements are reminiscent of authors like Stephen King or M. Night Shyamalan. The show blends a charming, New England-inspired atmosphere with genuinely frightening moments when the horror kicks in.

He’s hosted both Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy on CNN and Tucci in Italy on National Geographic (season two premieres May 11th). I wasn’t surprised to see season 2 of Bloodhounds do so well – the first season was a hit too! It quickly climbed the Netflix charts, and even brought some renewed attention to season 1. What really stood out was seeing Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi back as Kim Gun-woo and Hong Woo-jin, and how their partnership evolved. This time around, they moved from taking down a local loan shark operation to tackling a much bigger threat: a powerful underground boxing league.
