Released over Thanksgiving weekend, Zootopia 2 is on track to break several records. Critics have given it a very high score on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the most successful Disney Animation sequel since Ralph Breaks the Internet exceeded the performance of its original film seven years ago. The film has also earned over $81 million globally, surpassing the $75.1 million opening weekend of the first Zootopia movie.

Trier once again collaborates with the talented Renate Reinsve, marking their third project together. Reinsve plays Nora Borg, an actress working in both theater and television. Nora and her sister, Agnes (Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas), are deeply affected when their long-absent father, Gustav (Stellan Skarsgård), suddenly returns. Gustav left when the girls were young, and his reappearance stirs up difficult emotions, particularly for Nora.

The show also featured a bit about Josh Meyers’ impressive impression of Gavin Newsom. While it first appeared on Late Night, Jimmy Kimmel Live! has used it most often, with Meyers and Seth frequently performing it together, including at Kimmel’s recent shows in Brooklyn. Seth recounted how Josh rode onto the stage on a city bike, circled around, and jumped off while it was still moving before delivering his first line. He then jokingly asked his mother which of her two sons she’d trust more to ride a bike on stage. Without hesitation, Hilary Meyers replied, “Oh Seth, you have no sense of balance.” It seems Adelaide has inherited her grandmother’s direct and honest personality.

On November 27, 2025, the University of the Ryukyus revealed they’d discovered a new species of goby fish. Researchers have named it “Vanderhorstia supersaiyan” because its fin pattern closely resembles the iconic golden hair of the Super Saiyan characters from the anime series Dragon Ball Z, specifically as first seen during the “Frieza Saga”.

I really enjoyed the second Percy Jackson movie, Sea of Monsters! It follows Percy, Annabeth, and this awesome new character – his half-brother Tyson, who’s a cyclops! They basically go rogue on a mission to rescue their friend Grover and save Camp Half-Blood. Their goal? To find the Golden Fleece, which is the only thing that can heal the camp, and they have to get it from a seriously scary, fully grown cyclops named Polyphemus. It’s a wild ride!

Netflix had a huge November with several popular new shows, including the surprise hit The Asset, the thrilling series The Beast in Me, and the compelling true crime drama Death by Lightning.
