Captain Jonathan Archer wasn’t only a skilled leader and adventurous explorer; he played a key role in the founding of the Federation. As shown in *Star Trek: Enterprise*, he later became President of the Federation. Now, Scott Bakula (who played Archer) and *Enterprise* writer/producer Mike Sussman want to further develop Archer’s story with a new *Star Trek* series that would fill the void left by the end of *Andor*.

Okay, Pokémon fans, there’s still hope! I’m hearing from a reliable source – entertainment insider @MyTimeToShineHello on X – that the live-action Pokémon series at Netflix hasn’t been shelved. They say we should get some official news about it next year. This lines up with what Variety reported a while back – Netflix is definitely working on bringing Pokémon to life, and it’s just the latest big Japanese property they’re adapting. So, while it’s still early days, the project is still moving forward, and 2025 might finally give us a glimpse of what’s in store.

I’m really enjoying watching Morgan’s powers develop in surprising ways. But this week, Selena truly shined – her storyline felt so important, and it’s clearly building to something big for her character this season. Plus, we met a brand new character who seems like they’re going to be a major player, and honestly, I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I think Jeanne Tripplehorn’s character is the real problem. Even if Lee was clear-headed, her complicated and attractive Betty Jo would be too much for someone like him – impulsive, easily distracted, and a bit of a mess – to handle. He’s caught up in a game of wanting her to desire him back. This week’s episode, “Short on Cowboys,” centers around their wild, all-day spree, starting with Lee following Betty Jo and ultimately leading to them ending up together in Dale Washberg’s bed.

Success in the movie business is never a sure thing. Often, sequels don’t live up to the original and can actually diminish its quality. When watching them, you end up enjoying the new content while also wondering what other, potentially better, stories could have been explored.
