Brendan Fraser’s Inkheart Is Finally Ready for a Sequel

Despite a stellar cast including Brendan Fraser, Paul Bettany, and Helen Mirren, the 2009 film adaptation of Inkheart wasn’t a success with critics or audiences. While it was a fun adventure story, it didn’t reach the popularity of franchises like Harry Potter. Now, sixteen years later, a sequel is in the works, with plenty more story to draw from in the original books.

Dawn of War 4 will dare what no predecessor has. For the first time, you can command a Primarch

If you’re new to the story of Warhammer 40k, Primarchs are essentially god-like humans created by the Emperor to lead a massive crusade and bring humanity back together. According to the Warhammer 40k Fandom page, there were 20 of them. They acted as the original genetic blueprints for the Space Marine legions, designed to be the ultimate leaders, fighters, and rulers – far surpassing any ordinary human in strength, speed, and intelligence. Primarchs are immortal and immune to disease. While these powerful characters haven’t been playable in any previous Dawn of War game, Dawn of War 4 will allow players to briefly command Primarch Lion El’Johnson.

George Clooney’s Awkward Little Run Is the Best Part of Jay Kelly

Many actors convincingly portray running on screen. Tom Cruise is the most famous example – his distinctive running form, with bent elbows and knees, is a key part of the successful Mission: Impossible films. Teyana Taylor’s impressive run in One Battle After Another was even highlighted in the movie’s promotion, with some claiming she surpassed Cruise. Other memorable cinematic runs include Tom Hanks’ effortless jog in Forrest Gump, Peter Strauss’ determined laps in The Jericho Mile, and Franka Potente’s desperate sprint in Run Lola Run. These actors all appear to have a natural athleticism and stamina, seemingly without any physical limitations.

Maybe Netflix Will Be Good for HBO

As a huge fan, I’m cautiously optimistic about this deal. Even though the company has a ton of money, it’s still a long way from being finalized. They need approval from regulators in the US and Europe, and there’s a real chance David Ellison and Paramount might try to block it altogether. Honestly, someone at Warner Bros. Discovery told me on Friday they think there’s only a 50/50 chance it actually goes through! And even if it does get approved, it could take a year and a half, or even longer, to actually happen. It’s definitely not a done deal yet.

Pluribus Got the Right Face for the Job

Telling someone the world has been taken over by aliens is tough enough. But imagine having to explain that the aliens are… eating people. For a job that awful, you need someone incredibly likable and unassuming – someone who can deliver terrible news with a gentle, reassuring presence. This person needs to be endlessly optimistic, deeply compassionate, and genuinely approachable – basically, a golden retriever in human form. Someone like John Cena.
