The upcoming *Game of Thrones* spinoff, *A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms*, is based on stories by *Game of Thrones* author George R.R. Martin. The trailer suggests this might be the first truly comedic installment in the *Game of Thrones* universe. Starring Peter Claffey as Sir Duncan the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as his squire, Egg, the series takes place a century before the original *Game of Thrones*, but after *House of the Dragon*. A humorous exchange in the teaser shows Sir Duncan threatening to hunt down anyone who robs him with dogs, to which Egg replies, “You don’t have dogs!” The HBO series will premiere on January 18, 2026, bringing viewers back to Westeros.
Starting October 9, 2025, YouTube will begin a new pilot program allowing creators whose channels were previously terminated to apply to rejoin the platform. Marvel Studios has revealed the official design for the villain Apocalypse as he’ll appear in Season 2 of X-Men ’97. Photos from New York Comic-Con, shared by DisInsider and Laughing Place, showcase a Marvel Legends action figure of Apocalypse from the upcoming season, which is a continuation of the original X-Men: The Animated Series.
