The Popeyes and One Piece collaboration is now live, and people are already reselling the exclusive items for a profit, with some making hundreds of dollars.
Beginning April 13th, Popeyes restaurants in the U.S. and Canada will offer a limited-time meal inspired by the hit anime series, One Piece.
The meal comes with a refreshing Gum-Gum Lemonade, a sweet Chopper’s Strawberry Cupcake, two pieces of chicken, and a side of Mac and Cheese.
Six Popeyes restaurants in the US are offering a limited number of special Luffy-themed Bento Boxes to customers who buy the One Piece meal. Some people are then reselling these boxes for a significant profit.

One Piece fans make hundreds reselling Popeyes Bento Boxes
Videos on social media showed huge lines forming at Popeyes restaurants across the US as people waited to order.
A customer reported that the line at one New Jersey location was incredibly long, extending around the entire building, through the parking lot, down the block, and even into the parking lot of a neighboring restaurant.
I went to Popeyes in New Jersey and was shocked by the incredibly long line – it went around the building, filled the parking lot, extended down the block, and even wrapped into the parking lot of the next restaurant! It was unbelievable.

Some fast food fans who lined up early have already made a profit by reselling the limited-edition Popeyes x One Piece Bento Boxes for as much as hundreds of dollars.
Recent eBay sales of the Bento Boxes, all on April 13th, ranged in price from $150 to a surprisingly high $499.

Surprisingly, some people are reselling the empty cardboard boxes the meals arrive in, but for significantly less money. For example, a set of two boxes recently sold for $24.88.
You can also shop for Popeyes merchandise online, including t-shirts, keychains, and popular Bento Boxes, but these are limited in quantity.
The One Piece and Popeyes collaboration is running until May 10th. It’s the newest anime-themed fast food partnership to become popular online, following a similar successful collaboration between McDonald’s Japan and Jujutsu Kaisen in April.
